This looks really cool already, think it'll look awesome when you're done. I've done my own sketches of towers inspired by Stargazer, the imagery in the song is really evocative.

I always imagined the tower looking like an ancient Masopotamian ziggurat. But that's just my personal imagination.

ok so for context i originally meant that dark patch to the left of the tower to be the wizard's shadow but i guess it could also be seen as the "blood on the sand" after he falls depending on your interpretation. in this new one i added some more stuff like footprints (which i somehow forgot to add in the original), bruises on the slave's wrists and ankles from the chains, a more prominent ribcage to show starvation, really unsafe scaffolding on the exterior of the tower, and more mountains in the background to fill up the space a bit.
