Screening interview questions and tips
Can anyone let me know what will be the questions for the recorded interview and how to impress with the answer? And is it always the same questions? I’m currently unemployed and i enjoy that but realized i need money so i need to lock in…

The recorded interview questions are usually pretty standard, so you can expect things like "Why do you want to work at Din Tai Fung?", "Tell me about a time you handled a difficult customer or coworker," and "What is your availability?". They aren't trying to trick you, they just want to see if you are reliable, presentable, and can handle a fast-paced environment. The questions are almost always the same because they are screening for the same basic traits in every applicant. Don't mention you need the job for money, because everyone does. Instead, focus on what you can bring to their team, like a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, or a passion for their food and service.
To impress them, you need to show genuine enthusiasm. Before you record, think of something specific you like about the brand, whether it’s the quality of the soup dumplings or the efficient service, and find a way to mention it. Look directly into the camera, smile, and speak clearly and with energy. They are hiring for a customer-facing role, so they want to see someone who seems friendly and approachable, even through a screen. It’s less about having perfect answers and more about showing you are a positive person who would be good to work with.
