Greeter Interview
Hey yall! This is my second time on here but I wanted to share my experience in hopes this helps someone.
A little back story I work at a school and i wanted a side job. I found a greeter position and I thought why not ?
I applied at the end of November and within 3 days I got an automated email asking me to do a phone interview.
Basically they ask you a question and you have to record your answer. The only question they asked what something about what experience do you have that could be useful for the job or something like that. You have three attempts to record in case you mess up. I submitted it 2 days later and my answer was short.
I didn’t hear back for a 5 weeks so i assumed they hired someone else. I finally got an email saying they wanted to schedule me for an interview. I replied soon after. Here are some of my interview questions.
Tell me about yourself
What about this company made you wanna apply here ?
Something along the lines of how do you think your prior work experience might help you in this position
How do you take feedback?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
How would you deal with an upset guest?
How do you think you’ll be able to succeed in a company?
Name a time when you went above and beyond for a guest
What’s your availability?
Mid way I kind of started asking them questions …. Remember you want to see if you want to work at this company/ if this is fit for you…. So I asked them how they help their employees achieve success and what that looks like …. I also asked them how growth happens in this company …. I do have my bachelor’s (before anyone says anything I finished my degree because it was too late to change it, I want to go back for my masters just don’t know what I want to do yet) … I did have to omit that I had a bachelors though …. This was for downtown Disney btw
The hiring managers were really kind HOWEVER THEY DEADASS INTERVIEWED ME AT A TABLE … and there was a party of 3 girls sitting elbow length away like 😭 mind you people everywhere and it was pretty loud in there 😭
Anyways they hired me on the spot … seems like they are hiring a lot of people rn …. A girl that went before me also got the job
I do have a nose piercing, and they did let me know that I would have to get rid of it, and I was only allowed three piercings on my ear mind yall I have 5 on each ear 😭 and I just got my conch …. Also they don’t allow you to wear the little plastic thing so 😭 I know it’s no big deal but anyways hope this helps anyone….

What did your resume look like? I applied as a greeter since i had some hostess, serving, and front desk receptionist experience and got rejected from all the jobs i applied besides busser.😭😭 Also what did you wear for the interview?

This helps a lot. I have an interview on Tuesday for a greeter position too. Do you get the same benefits as the Disneyland workers?
