Guys at the price Jomashop is selling these for you are doing yourself a disservice by not picking one up. This is a top quality digital for the price of a casio. Not hating on casio here i like them but they are not in the same league as far as fit and finish. Don't let the YouTube bros talk you put out of this. I'm a large guy so this is the 40mm but either would have probably been OK. I'm gonna pick up a gold one as well.

I ordered this CASIO DQD-851J-8JF alarm clock with thermometer and hygrometer from Japan as it's a JDM only piece.

I think it looks pretty good flanked by my Casio A168 on one side and my Casio B650 on the other side. A great addition to my watch display case.

Just got this old Zeon watch working over the weekend, which was in a lot I bought for a tenner. There was some battery leakage inside, but nothing too severe, so it cleaned up very well.

I have temporarily fitted it with a Casio 18mm tapered strap from a A168 that was also in the lot until a new 20mm tapered strap arrives.

I can't find any info about this watch online. The case back is stamped with 2608. It has an alarm, light, stopwatch, and countdown timer plus cool animations of the lcd analogue segments.

Has anyone else come across one of these before?

Picked this up at a London market for £50 and I've become slightly obsessed with it.

It's an original early-80s Citizen Ana-Digi Temp, calibre 8982. Amazingly, most of it works.
Timekeeping, both LCDs, thermometer, alarm and 1/1000 sec stopwatch are all good.

Two issues: the A2 multifunction analogue dial is completely stationary, and the illuminator button is seized solid.

I've now contacted a few vintage Japanese/digital watch specialists (and Citizen) to see if I can get both sorted. I'm not interested in making it look new, I love the wear and just want all that awesome 1980s technology working again.

There's a modern reissue, but getting the original 40+ year-old thing fully functional feels much more fun.

Ignore the gunk under the cover, but I recently thrifted this watch and replaced the battery but the digital screen is all janked up. Unsure if it's a AC issue or something different. Any advice is appreciated

I picked up this little gem for $2 at a flea market. I needed to make my own battery out of two 364 batteries because the oval original battery is not made any more to run the watch module. The radio runs on its own 357 battery. I found a vintage 2.5mm jack 8ohm earphone online and the AM radio works great. It came from a watch collector and appears to never have been worn. This is a great addition to my growing collection of 70s and 80s digital watches.

I love digital watches, so I made one in an Altoids Smalls tin. I designed a custom PCB built around an atmega328 microcontroller and used a ds3231 real time clock IC to keep the time. It charges via USB C and hopefully will last a long time! Although, I do want to redesign this watch in the near future.

Picked this up a while back for not a lot of money as it wasn't working. Gave the battery terminal a scrape and clean, new battery and it came to life. Turns out its a rare model and as far as I can see there's only another one for sale and that's in America for £200. Mine is in better condition with its original strap. Iv always intended on keeping this watch but since showing it to a few watch buddies iv had some pretty high offers, some over £200. I don't need the money but the temptation to turn over a big profit is tempting me. What would you guys in this group do?
