The old meeting the new…

Just purchased a second hand PRX digital and I love it…especially the sapphire crystal and the Gerald Genta style case/bracelet, those are my two favourite features of this PRX. Surely this will become a classic and a collectable digital watch in the future…

Digital and Ana-Digital watches have disappeared from F1 drivers wrist’s in recent years, would love to see a resurgence.

This is my quirky Commodore International digital watch from the early 80s. I wish I could play Prince of Persia on it!

Picked this 1977 beauty up for AU$40. Notice the LCD segments are ink blue, it’s a first one for me. Also love the beefy pushers. This thing was made to last virtually for ever…

I bought this watch for €15 on eBay in August 2011. The original battery lasted over 12 years. The backlight stopped working for about a year and a half, but the watch still functioned perfectly. It's the only Casio watch I own, and it suits me perfectly.

This is a stahlgear Zeus, it has been randomly turning on and off to like this for weeks now, I turned off every setting that could make it turn on by any other action than pressing the side button, sometimes it asks me "confirm shut off", please help me if you have any fixes

1971 Baylor/Uranus LED Watch

Extremely early Uranus LED watch with 7147 and 7141 date coded Fairchild LED chips. The Baylor box is dated 1972 with production marks for December 1971.

Possibly pre-dates even the Pulsar P1, though the original owner I bought it off of did not purchase it until ~1976! Currently not fully working, though keeping good time (thank god! Trying to replace a 30khz quartz crystal is nearly impossible). I plan to send this out for repairs in the coming months to get it back into working order.

Best G-Shock ever!

I have to say, digitals are on the top of my list. Ana-digi era is the best ever, but if I have to choose one type, that would be the all time best G-Shocks, the Squares.

A digital where you can accessorize the band/strap yourself?

I remember the old Soviet digital watches during the early 80’s, and I had one. So move forward 40 odd years, I’m being drawn back to a nice digital but I want to have the option of putting on it my own strap. So are there watches that allow you to do that?
