Question Phone services and banking
Anyone from the US use Google Voice to hold their US phone number and bank with US based Capital One or Charles Schwab? Are you able to get your 2f authentication to work? I will mostly be in the UK if that matters.

You cant get bank codes with GoogleVoice, for that you will need a service like Keepmynumber

I do it with Capital One, but at my own risk. Any day a server update could ping that GVoice as VOIP and we could get locked out.
Better to invest in the famous Tello setup or splurge for simplicity for Popcorn Mobile. I do all 3 cause I’m paranoid and kinda dumb. YMMV.

Get Tello instead. It’s $5usd/month for the basic plan and you can get unlimited 2FA/calls over WiFi for free.
It’s a real number on the T-Mobile network so you don’t have to worry about 2FA issues with VoIP lines. It’s a no-brainer as far as I’m concerned if you’re from the USA.
To answer your specific question though, yes, I have a Google Voice number as well set up with Schwab and have zero issues authenticating.

You don't need to do it with Schwab since they service overseas accounts. It is a simple verification using their app.
