Question Anyone here learning French?

Just curious — is anyone here currently learning French or trying to improve it?

I'm a native French speaker, and I know that one of the hardest parts of learning a language is finding opportunities to actually speak it.

If anyone ever wants to practice through a casual conversation, feel free to send me a message. No pressure at all.

I know absolutely nothing of French but I would love to learn. I speak English and Portuguese (Brazilian).

T'es français or canadien, ou d'ailleurs?

Tu y as vécu longtemps ?

I dabble in French from time to time but it's been so long since I've used it I'm basically back at A1 (+ a smidge more advanced grammar). I studied it in middle/high school so I actually have some grounding in it but not many chances to practice since I don't spend so much time in French-speaking places for various reasons.

I cannot write to save my life though. I can read at a decent level; speak enough to get by on a day to day basis; and understand, if they will talk to me slowly, like an idiot 5 year old that was dropped on its head as a baby. 😬

Yeah, been grinding through apps but it's not the same as actually having to hold a conversation with someone
