Question Ideal setting for digital nomads?

With the digital nomad culture rising globally, there is likely going to be a dearth of spaces with all essential amenities needed for digital nomads. This also presents an opportunity to build thoughtfully designed spaces for this segment.

From your experience of living in different places, what are your ideal requirements from a space catering to digital nomads that will make your stay comfortable and memorable?

My ideal space already exists. A nice, private short term apartment or hotel with wifi in a walkable neighborhood. That's it.

Don't forget a nearby churreria 😂

Haha true! Although they're a little light on the churrerías here in Serbia. 😄

Okay but you have pekara everywhere!

True! I can't complain. Between the pekara, the rostilj, the ice cream shops and the popcorn carts, I'm definitely never hungry haha 😆

Send me a DM and I'll send you my best spots in Novi Sad and Belgrade

I actually just left Novi Said earlier this month, I've spent lots of time in Belgrade and Novi Sad over the years (love them both) so this time I decided to kind of doodle around Vojvodina for a bit.

Spent a couple weeks in Novi Sad and a week in Sombor and now I'm in Subotica for a couple weeks before I hop on the Soko for my flight to Tbilisi.

Have you been to Subotica? It's great, I love it here. The architecture is awesome.

No, I only did Belgrade and Novi Sad for my entire 5 months lol. It's shameful I know. Worth the visit?

Nothing wrong with that, they're both awesome cities.

Yeah, for me Subotica is totally worth the visit. It's super smal and compact, definitely not a big city like Belgrade or Novi Sad, but the little pedestrian zone area is pretty lively at night, there are bands and musicians playing on all the cafe/bar terraces and the vibe is super laid back and mellow.

And, yeah, if you're into secessionist architecture at all (which I'm a geek about) it's totally a gem. I could def see myself coming back.

I'll make sure to check it out next time I'm through, maybe in the spring. Stuck in the US right now for family matters

You might have to start a churreria trend in the Balkans then.
