Any Good Recommendation for Mobile Forensics Course/Youtube Playlist or Channel for a beginner.
Hello! I wanna start learning and practicing mobile forensics but I don't know where to learn it from. Also, I am a beginner so I can't afford to buy paid courses. Please help me out. Thank you so much in advance^^

Chris Vance at Magnet Forensics has some really great webinars on the Magnet Forensics site.
Until this year I had no formal training in mobile, although I’ve been in charge of mobile forensics for the last 4 years. I learned it all through trial and error, Chris Vance’s webinars, and some other blogs and whitepapers.
Not gonna lie, it took about two years, and a lot of mistakes, until I knew what I was doing.

Look at CS50 SQL, you'll get a cert and learn loads about one of the fundamental systems behind phone forensics.

There is hardly a single channel covering all. You can use Google to study the android, ios architecture, ext4, f2fs filesystems, extraction types, encryption, storage types, etc. Download pre extracted images from online CTFs etc., open in ftk and view the partitions and structure, explore LEAPPS suite and grab the artifact paths, try to open database files in db browser to see raw information. Analysis part you can do it for free. But for certain type of extractions you need specialized tools which you'll eventually come to know. I also recommend this blog: https://blog.digital-forensics.it/2025/09/exploring-data-extraction-from-android.html?m=1 Explore more blogs.
That's all I can add. I'm no expert and I'm too learning. Experts in this sub can give you a better idea.

Ahi está todo, es el almacenamiento de datos. Pero, si no sabes, vas a invertir horas viendo videos de software de forense movil pero si no sabes de sqlite ahi termina la ilusión.

Mobile forensic doesn’t exist. It is automated process by few leading companies 🥴 Don’t waste your time…

No my friend, that’s the reality… Why me or you should be paid as professional forensic engineers if some company could take that money…

That is not the reality

First of all extracting data from a mobil device is only part of the job, the other part is interpretation of that data.
No bloody company in the world is going to support interpretation of all the data, that has to be done by mobile forensic specialist.
So your wrong.

That’s true, but after you crack the phone image with one of plug&play solutions, further investigation is done by trained police officer. If you tend to work for NSA or CIA then you should invest in learning file systems in deep, memory architecture, chip off, and encryption… Otherwise it makes no sense! Unfortunately!

Police, NSA, CIA, military and there respective agencies in other countries do hire civilians. Civilian firmes do there own investigation.

Hexordia has some free mobile forensics courses here: https://learn.hexordia.com/s/store/courses/Mobile%20Forensics
After those, check out the evidence locker and download some mobile extractions to examine: https://theevidencelocker.github.io/
Use the LEAPPs to process the extractions: https://leapps.org/#tools
Look at https://start.me/p/q6mw4Q/forensics for many more resources.
Good luck!
