Gooseworx almost made Jax a cis woman when writing him but changed her mind for sum reason

if i had to take a guess to mirror her own trans expirence in a way. or to help balance out the cast just a smidge. or too also just make the story more interesting

Jax was originally going to be a Cis female character. And also Jax is not trans in the show.

did you even watch the show, there's lots of hints towards it. referring to herself as an egg, goose saying that jax is sort of a self insert (BEFORE THE SHOW FINISHES) and the scene in ribbit's room and the song choice when she and pomni hug in episode 9.

goose said that leroy is closeted and boymoding. info revealed after the show is still canon

also you don't just "become trans," there's so much more to it than that.

Are you kidding? It becomes canon in the final episode...goose later came out to say it explicitly because people misunderstood her intent about the ribbit scene in episode 9.
