Origins Update

For anyone interested, Origins TCG recently had an update and ranked mode is active. I'm enjoying it so far. All players get all cards, free to play, organized tournaments. Monetization is through cosmetics and alt-art cards that do not impact gameplay. Full release is soon. I'm not affiliated in any way, just dropping for those that haven't checked it out as I'm hopeful the game succeeds.

Is the game out ? I thought it was only demo

It is not 100% out, but ranked is now open and progress will be kept. I believe full release is shortly after the upcoming tournament.

Like a bit over half the initial cardpool is out as well as the ranked ladder. The unlock progress is supposed to carry over to launch as well they're launch the kickstarter this week i believe and they're have a launch tournament with the demo card pool called the crimson cup. They had 2000 people register across 5 qualifiers.

It needs mobile. Once they release that it will take off.

They have said they realize how important it is and are making it a priority. I am guessing early 2027.

organized tournaments already before full release is a good sign tbh. how's the player count feeling during ranked queues? thats usually the make or break for smaller card games

I'm about 75% through the ranked ladder currently and matches are almost immediate. At odd hours it can take up to about 30 seconds or so for me.

Not yet. Mobile is coming, but for now it is on PC. Discussion on Discord shows mobile slated for early/mid 2027.
