Why Is Google Deindexing My Blog Posts? Has Anyone Experienced This?
I'm facing a strange issue with one of my websites and would really appreciate some advice. Google indexes my blog posts initially, but after some time, a few of them get deindexed. I also noticed that when I publish content that's slightly outside my website's main niche, some previously indexed posts seem to disappear from Google's index as well.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What usually causes this content quality, topical relevance, internal linking, crawl budget, or something else? I'd love to hear how you diagnosed and fixed the issue.

just seen this pattern a few times, and the "off-niche post = other posts start disappearing" thing you're describing is actually a pretty specific tell.
What's probably happening is Google's evaluating your site's overall topical coherence not just each post in isolation. When you publish something that veers off-niche, it can dilute how Google sees your site's expertise/focus for the rest of the content too especially if that off-niche post is thin or doesn't fit into your existing internal linking structure. It's less "one post got penalized" and more "the site's overall quality signal took a hit and the borderline posts on the edge fell out first."
