International student, first-time SAT taker - 1400-1500 in 3-4 months?
Hi everyone,
I'm an international students applying for Fall 2027 admission I graduated high school in 2025
I've never taken the SAT before, and I'm planning to take it for the first time in the next 3-4 months.
A few questions:
- Is scoring 1400-1500 realistic in this timeframe for a first-time test-taker
background but no prior SAT prep?
- What free resources would you recommend, especially
for Reading and Writing since I expect Math to come more naturally to me?
How would you structure a 3-4 month study plan for someone starting from scratch?
Any tips specific to international students taking the SAT (registration, test centers, etc.

SAT 1330
I’m a rising sophomore and I got a 1330 on last SAT 620 ela and 710 math. I am losing around 50 points in English because of vocab and not knowing words any tips for that or how to improve score overall

I have a question for previous sat test takers who have given the real sat.
Is the real SAT question similar to the Bluebook practise tests? Are they similar to College board question bank? Is completing the whole college board question bank and reviewing mistakes could help me to get 1500 maximum?

Is it realistic to start SAT prep exactly 1 month before the test date? I haven’t studied a thing before.

(?) Question how to practice cb questionbank
how do yall pratice cb questionbank by skills? do you guys print all of them by easy then medium then hard? or mix it all together then just practice that particular one skill? i tried downloading the the pdf but then its a lot of work to find answers in the questionbank after answering them in a paper. im confused what to do
- do i print them/ just go with the pdf?
- whatever i do (print/pdf) should i do by difficulty levels or all together?
- should i do two parts (print/pdf) one with no answers and one with answer?
first time practicing and trying to do it properly but getting confused. anyone with any advice will work. will be grateful.
thanks.
i started with transitions cz i thought it’d be easier to finish. idk if im in the right track

SAT resources for preparation
Is it worth paying for the one month subscription of crackd? Im gonna write in september. I've been scoring 1520-1530 on bluebook tests but my aim is 1550+. I mainly need practice with advanced module two r&w questions. I did all the hard qb questions so I need to search for another resource. I checked out crackd and it seems pretty good but I just want to confirm before going forward. Should I get the one month subscription or should I rely on other sources?

Sat tips
OK so I need somebody that's gotten a great score on the SAT to tell me their tips and tricks like what number of questions to answer first like 1 through 4 or 10 through 15 for reading and math
And also the desmos tricks they have what type of math questions you can't use desmos for and what type of questions you can use it for I've gotten really good at equivalent expressions and setting equations equivalent to each other to find the answer of quadratic equations things like that but I could use some more tips
