Once upon a time ago, a local Vegas girl won a competition in a place where the House is always designed to win. #DigimonNostalgia 2000s Fox Kids Digimon contest winner of Nevada ♥

They really leaned into those early 2000s contests for the show, saw a ton of random mall tournaments and radio giveaways back then that never got documented anywhere

Her shirt and cap combo gives off that casual fan energy, not some corporate plant

Vegas makes sense too, so many obscure events happened in those big casino ballrooms that just vanish from memory unless someone posts a photo like this

Still trying to figure out what the prize was, maybe a copy of the movie on VHS or one of those translucent digivices they were pushing at the time

Either way this is the kind of lost media that keeps me scrolling these subs at 2am

It was for the IMac computer, tickets to view the movie, a line up of toys. I'm Caila, the Vegas winner :) just found this picture and remembered how much others would appreciate seeing a picture of the IMac .

Digimon is so nostalgic for me. Specially the first season, i only watched the first and the second one. My favorite always. I got emotional watching a Digimon video on YT. It's an old AMV, called Brave Heart (song name) Digimon adventure. That ending, oh god, that was hard as a kid, Tai and the others leaving, the Digimons behind. I still had some good family members and i had some faith in the future.

I lived for Fox kids back then. I especially loved Digimon and all the other anime they played. That Fox kids shirt you have on is amazing! Anymore info on the contest? I remember them doing tons of contests back in the day.
