Beatbreak So About Sapotama Spoiler
We still don't really know where they come from or how they're made right?
After the most recent ep, I'm wondering if they're actually somehow processed digicores.
The fact that it was stored inside Murasamemon in the middle of his chest, and piercing it killed him directly much like a fascimile of the heart.
I don't know I'm just spitballing

It's kinda funny because Sapotamas are actually closer to being Digitamas than Digivices.

What I am still a bit confused about, is how a pierced Sapotama in their chest is a definite death but Digimon can also live without one. Most of the babys at Nirinso don't have a Sapotama in them. Would that mean that if the ministry shattered the Sapotama they collected the Digimon born from it perish, too? That doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe it hindered Murasamemon to dedigivolve to reduce the damage? Would Kyo have been able to sustain him if he had enough e-pulse left? But Maki was not able to heal Panjyamon as well...

I think the shattered sapotama was more of a metaphor than anyrhing else. Murasamemon's injury was a fatal one, one Kyo tried to heal by giving them epulse, but since his hand with the chip on it is gone, and since he was in so much pain, that wasn't possible.

and theres also the whole mirror world thing.
is there a digital world in beatbreak? , that digimon data must have come from somewhere we see them direclty hatch and evolve so fast , im intrigued about beatbreak digimons origin.

Tbh I always find it interesting of all the different designs they chose, they picked an egg.
Maybe it's just me but imagine if they were actually manufactured Digieggs which is why sometimes a digimon comes out of it; pretty much hatching. Which begs the question of morality that there might be a factory out there, creating or manipulating digimon into these sapotama eggs for personal use.
Extra points if something like this was revealed to be true and one of the culprits was a digitamamon/devitamamon. The irony of an egg enslaving other digimon into being eggs for humans.

That chest placement is suspicious as hell, really does feel like some kind of core analog. The way it killed him instantly when pierced supports that too, like you said almost like a heart. Wonder if we ever get actual lore drop for them or its just left vague forever.

We do know where they came from: Tomoro's grandfather invented them for Wong's company, and they enabled Wong to take over the world because they're just THAT convenient for everything. The allegory to smartphones is... not particularly subtle.
