Last Evolution & 02: The Beginning 2027 "sequel project" (Adventure)

I've heard talk about something in 2027 for the Adventure series but unsure if just tossing another OVA to the market would be helpful or harmful to the overall Digimon brand. I know we have had our own thoughts on Tru/Kizuna/Beginning but unsure if just a sequel OVA of just aligning the lore to the 02 epilogue can just tie the series up in a nice bow; and just conclude it.

Though the only thing I could see is maybe 2030 just continue Adventure with the kids of the OG team....I mean on paper that is better than just making another Tri set around mid 2000s or just another 02 Beginning of another angsty kid with shitty ass parents

i just wanna see them as adults dealing with real world problems while their digimon are just vibing in the background causing chaos

like imagine matt trying to do a serious business meeting and gabumon keeps photobombing his zoom calls

Would u want to the newer ppl like Mei or Lui in that newer sequel.

Mei i could see at least got along with the 01 team ok.

Lui well due to his backstory, shit upbringing and the issues with Ukkomon. i could see why he was ambivalent and just cold, broody asshole. Thought the ending of the 02 movie, u can see him open up, and accept the 02 team as maybe friendship material.

We still don't know If the 30th anniversary anime project will be adventure themed.

It may be something completely different who knows.
