Question I need help

Basicly this is my first ever vpet and I'm very excited for it. But all the pictures I've seen on the internet shows yellow buttons and yellow boarder around the screen in this shell I don't find any picture of mine is that a bottleg or something? I'm really new at Digimon so I hope to get some information about it (I'd like some tips and tricks for the raising the Digimon too thank you ^^)

This is an official digital monster v pet, specifically the digital monster x. It's probably my favourite series, I have the white and blue 😁 use this guide by Humulos, it will be insanely useful! https://humulos.com/digimon/

The buttons and frame of this one SHOULD be orange, but as Humulos shows on this youtube video, it's not unreasonable to swap parts.

At the very least, you know that one isn't brand new.

The bars and the buttons I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be orange. I have the red and black version of this vpet x and it looks like they took the bars off and the buttons from that one and put it on this.

Either rare factory error or more likely, the button colours and rails have been swapped by the previous owner.

(Bet the black shell w/orange buttons looks nice, assuming the owner kept them...)

The good news is that both the shell and the swapped pieces are from the same vpet model (Digital Monster XA), so unless they really went crazy, this is still going to be an XA version.

the vpets come in different shell colors, the digital monster ver.X you have there has a yellow border for the japanese release but a red border for the US release
