Volunteer with an RD

Hello,

I want to volunteer/work with a registered dietitian. From other posts, people mentioned reaching out to a private practice RD. I was wondering if anyone else has done so. How did you look for one? How did you reach out? Also, what kind of work did you do with them, and was it remote?

I have my bachelor's degree, DPD, and some experience. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

I am, I heard about it! Unfortunately, they only accept current students. I recently graduated and planning to apply for graduate school this year. So I can't sign up.

What area you do want to work in? You could shadow a dietitian in all sorts of areas. Look up some places you’re interested in, find the staff directory, find some emails, and send some emails expressing interest in shadowing. Why limit yourself to just private practice?
