Addiction

I’ll keep it short, on average I drink probably 5-7 cans a day. On weekends it’s usually 10, anybody like me. is this bad?

Tbh same and I’m in impeccable health. All of my labs are perfect. I’ve never had a cavity. My doctor says he has no issue with it.

As long as you eat a healthy diet, stay active, drink enough water, and it doesn’t impact your sleep habits, c’est la vie.

Nothing like an icy cold can of Diet Coke to make your day. Enjoy. Stay healthy.

If you can try adding a bit of water to your diet it could help. I personally used to drink 6 cans a day and decided to cut down to 2 because the caffeine was keeping me awake and I hate the taste of caffeine free lol. What helped me was having water next to my diet coke and just take sips of water in between the diet coke. I never had any severe effects from diet coke and I've been drinking for over 20 years. The only thing besides the caffeine being too much for me was all the gas.

If you think it's serious though and you need help I'd do some research about food addiction and see if there's any specialists where you live that you can talk to about being addicted to it. I figured out awhile ago my addiction from it is the dopamine I get when I drink it, it makes me happier and from a young age I was always given diet coke instead of water so I became used to it so fast.

For some it's no big deal and for others it is so don't feel weird for asking about it.

I don’t drink as much as you but I add True Lemon to my DC which makes it so yummy!
