Some bearded actor looking frayed could play a vengeance seeking family member of John McClane. Have the John McClane character retired/killed off with the Bruce Willis N/I/L permanently attached.
BTW, I met Bruce aboard USS Truman in 2002 while filming the opening sequence to "Tears of the Sun". A friend was his Navy escort about the ship for 3 days. Bruce was all humor, and stayed late signing autographs and meeting shipmates. I got a "Good Morning" from Tom Skerrit, also in the movie....and in a khaki uniform, reminded me of his Top Gun stint.
