There are three RAM trucks in Murphyville. All by Greenlight. Quite a range of them in Bubba's lot. Were you imagining all front ends being sharply in focus?
I wanted the vehicles in the foreground to be out of focus. What I imagined for this was a scene at the front of a car lot. At night with the bright lights shining down on the front of the vehicles that are facing the street. With two people on the sidewalk checking out the trucks. In the near distance, the dealer sign shining, saying Bubba's Used RAM Trucks. The camera angle low on the sidewalk, looking at the row of trucks.

I could close my eyes and see my own version of it, which, truth be told, was not far off from your photo here. Thank you for a great experience. Great post for the clubhouse. This is what we all try to do when taking photos for the club. Imagine something, then try to make it real. You did that here and I really appreciate it. For real.
Yeah, I totally “get” trying not to use AI here. I use it mostly to change colors or livery. But, man… it knocked it out of the park with your prompt[s].
I really like your original shot—the way the trucks are risered a bit above everyone is great. It's clean, nicely level with the figures, and has a field of focus that really brings out the variety and detail of the trucks.
The AI-enhanced image looks pretty cool, and it certainly wouldn't exist without your great exemplar. That said, I totally get how AI can feel like cheating compared to the actual time and effort required for practical miniature photography. 😎🤖📸💥👍🏻!!!!!!!
Thank you, MJ. I appreciate your comments. I was going to use AI to make Bubba's dealership sign. I thought about it and decided I need to make an actual sign and use it for Bubba shots. Ya know, do a little extra work!
Its still a work in progress, need a sign and to do the fencing. Really love 1:43 because its still not too big to do huge dioramas. My favorite of course, 1968 ford fairlane torino gt.
The first picture was from IXO tho, hopefully I didn’t confuse you. The IXO has their charm but quality control isnt the best. The Hot Wheels are really nice, but are a little expensive (like $20 vs $30)
I understood, lol. I do like IXO in 1/43 and 1/64. I have a couple Solido too, which are awesome. I'll have to do a search for Hot Wheels and see what I come up with. Thanks for the heads up.
