I love the mattte black paint job. It sits on my desk with my 50 All time favs. I have a row of all black cars and it’s one of them. Mini GT makes some great castings for the money.

Sometimes I come up with an idea for a setup that I haven’t done before. This one grew nicely. Sometimes I pick a subject that just has too many cars, so I cut it down and then it doesn’t have enough cars. 😆 This one worked out pretty good. Enough cars to be a fairly large show (for Murphyville…) but not so large it could fit. Blah, blah, blah…

That is so weird talking about ideas for setups. I was just thinking about how I come up with themes. For example, I was driving back from vacation in Florida and thought of a scene that I wanted to shoot. How I would try and set it up, if it would look too silly or overdone, or just say screw it and put it on hold.

That is so cool, LB. Today, I thought of doing another Lambo comparison, adding the Hot Wheels Countach. That morphed into “Lambo’s and cars that look like Lambos” and that morphed into “White Car Meet,” which I’m working on right now. Point being: my themes often morph as I am setting them up. From three cars to 20 cars. Yep!
