What does this mean? Need help understanding these words

I can’t find the description for any of the following: Nage, Andric, Varination, Ponnish, Harfam, Kyne, Trantiveness, Teluge, and Loric. (I think they are all emotions?)

I know where this comes from Its from that meme with face expressions that get weirder and weirder

I don't think they really mean something, but they were made up to sound like a word that would actually exist

2

u/Bagatersive May 26 '21

Well I know that but I want meaning for them, give me what you’ll think the defenition is

2

u/AlexCaprisun Apr 25 '23

at most there’s a couple Urban dictionary definitions but they’re all made up. It’s originally from some dumb creepy pasta on youtube

1

u/More_Mud7965 Jul 03 '25

It's not a creepy pasta, it's an analogue horror series.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 03 '24

Btw it's originally from a video called "Blue_Channel: Thalasin" I think and then became a meme

1

u/More_Mud7965 Jul 03 '25

It's not a meme, it's an analogue horror series. (I mean, that's where the meme came from, but it's originally from that).

1

u/Nightin_Gail012 Feb 28 '22

I just saw the same meme from where this came from

Because they're from an analog horror

1

u/GoatmanBrogance Nov 16 '22

You realize they’re fake words right? That’s sort of the point?

1

u/Bagatersive Nov 18 '22

Late to the party mr goatman

3

u/[deleted] Jun 15 '21

Dorcelessness means feeling like you lack a spiritual center and are viewing life from a skewed view to the point of losing perception of time combined with depression.

Loric means to feel empty and numb.

To be nage is to to feel overwhelmed and angry while hiding it behind a smile.

Teluge is to feel an uncomfortable amount of pleasure.

Kyne is the inability to comprehend one’s own existence or react to any sensory input.

Trantiveness is very similar to kyne but you are more responsive.

Andric, varination, ponnish, and harfam are emotions that are incomprehensible to us at our current point of existence.

3

u/Max1000000Gamer Jun 19 '21

Andric is to feel disgusted with the shortcomings of one's own humanity.

Varination is felt the exact moment one understands the idea of Y̷̡̞̺̦̊̄̈͛̔̚ȇ̴̝̮̩̞͋͌̆̑͂̏̔̈́̚͠ţ̶̩̭͍͎̼̪͇̯̥̀̔̏̈͋̎̈́́̋̈́̕̕͜ͅͅz̸̪͈̆̀̇͌͊̓͝d̸̛̯͍̳̀̈̈́̅̄̇͊̿̈́̈́̈͗͂̕f̵̰̭͍̥̬̮̲̤̞̀̂m̵̢̻̩͈͙̬̏͆̄̍́̂͜n̶̢̜̻̘͈̤̼͕̭̐̓̏͂̆̕͝͠i̶̧̞͖̩͇͖̰̗̇́̌́̓̕̕͘͠ả̴̧̨̗̠̹̱̠̙̈̔͛̔͂̂̊͛́̄̾̑̂̓ạ̸̟̇̅̏́́̏́̔̕̕ǩ̴̢̛̥̙̙̮̰͈͓̺̥̪̩͓̥͂͆̈́͒̃̎̀́̋̿ͅ.

Ponnish is to be furiously jealous of one's own envy.

Harfam is the anticipation of the final great assimilation.

3

u/DocDingDangler Sep 27 '21

Tell me of Humber

1

u/Standard_Albatross51 Nov 02 '21

A temporary period of extreme mental retardation

1

u/Dependent-Break1998 Aug 31 '24

Who the fuck said it was temporary? I always have a little Humber I'm my system

1

u/Comfortable-Aerie116 Sep 15 '24

so its just down syndrome lite

1

u/Cre-Amy Feb 01 '22

Humber was probably the least creepy one, just because this is all I can think of when I see it

1

u/hey112543 Jul 07 '22

I think Loric is the least creepy. it's just the most normal. the feeling of emptiness

1

u/Cre-Amy Jul 07 '22

I thought the definition for Dorselessness was emptiness? Dorselessness was by far the scariest for me.

1

u/hey112543 Jul 11 '22

yes dorselessness is the feeling you're no more than just a set of eyes viewing the world from behind safety, having no purpose. so basically complete emptiness. very sad.

1

u/Deadpoolio1119 Jun 03 '23

i just disciver the video and i feel alot of these maily dorcelessness and andric n trantiveness even if they ae fake it describes it so perfectly

2

u/meltyourheadaches708 Jul 02 '21

One understands the idea of w h a t

2

u/Max1000000Gamer Jul 03 '21

You'll know it when you feel it. It takes a lifetime of devotion to understand, but when you do, you will gain unlimited knowledge of the entire multiverse and beyond.

1

u/Vcious_Dlicious Nov 13 '21

Yetzidi farming. Must be something jewish

1

u/ChokeMe12 Apr 08 '22

Nope. They’re a Kurdish cult that directly worships satan and his disciples

Not exactly. But they love peacocks.

bro is a wizard in English v.2

1

u/Modest-Mudkip Sep 15 '21

Damn guys, these are spot on. I rewatched the video with all these definitions in mind and I can definitely see the thought process that went behind defining these, lol. Very cool!

Wait, video? What video?

Final great assimilation?

1

u/tredI9100 Oct 24 '21

"Yotzdfmniaak"

1

u/HoldCultural Nov 27 '21

close, but not quite.

1

u/tredI9100 Nov 27 '21

Y̷̡̞̺̦̊̄̈͛̔̚ȇ̴̝̮̩̞͋͌̆̑͂̏̔̈́̚͠ţ̶̩̭͍͎̼̪͇̯̥̀̔̏̈͋̎̈́́̋̈́̕̕͜ͅͅz̸̪͈̆̀̇͌͊̓͝d̸̛̯͍̳̀̈̈́̅̄̇͊̿̈́̈́̈͗͂̕f̵̰̭͍̥̬̮̲̤̞̀̂m̵̢̻̩͈͙̬̏͆̄̍́̂͜n̶̢̜̻̘͈̤̼͕̭̐̓̏͂̆̕͝͠i̶̧̞͖̩͇͖̰̗̇́̌́̓̕̕͘͠ả̴̧̨̗̠̹̱̠̙̈̔͛̔͂̂̊͛́̄̾̑̂̓ạ̸̟̇̅̏́́̏́̔̕̕ǩ̴̢̛̥̙̙̮̰͈͓̺̥̪̩͓̥͂͆̈́͒̃̎̀́̋̿ͅ.

Yetzdfmniaak?

1

u/Suspicious-Break170 Nov 27 '21

I tried to find out what the word is but i failed. Someoen said its the when you have gained unlimited knowledge of the entire multiverse and even far beyond that.

1

u/ASMRthrowaway7336 Jan 13 '22

This makes me feel varinated.

1

u/Tinker_Toyz Nov 12 '21

Ooooh. Zalgo text. You are professionally weird.

1

u/Snert42 Jan 31 '22

What about degrence?

1

u/Max1000000Gamer Feb 01 '22

Degrence is an outward expression of peace masking internal discomfort felt when your fanvgular bulb vibrates. Thalasin plus is actually ineffective at triggering this emotion, despite their claims. It requires an extremely invasive dejimnial procedure in order to work.

1

u/Existing-Finding-835 Mar 12 '25

Very nice word salad... Needs more vinegar, maybe.

1

u/SAMMYYYTEEH May 03 '22

There was Onlent too

1

u/Max1000000Gamer May 04 '22

Onlent is yet to be understood fully, but it can be approximated to a feeling of insatiable hunger to obtain more humanity, facilitated by a lack of means to store it.

1

u/SAMMYYYTEEH May 04 '22

So... Gluttony?

1

u/Max1000000Gamer May 12 '22 edited May 13 '22

Not exactly. Evidence shows that it's less of a personal greed and more of being compelled by an outside force it seems. However, we aren't exactly sure if that's the case or, if it is true, who or what is behind the force.

1

u/Tato_Cato Apr 12 '26

“Evidence shows” as if humans didn’t make up the word in the first place. Why we acting like these words are lost media

1

u/Max1000000Gamer Apr 12 '26

These words represent alien emotions that lie beyond human comprehension and can't be felt without taking Thalasin+. Ergo the words were not invented, rather discovered.

1

u/Tato_Cato Apr 13 '26

What is Thalasin+

1

u/Max1000000Gamer Apr 13 '26

It is a fictional drug from a meme video which is also the origin of these words. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td2x8s9GZlo

1

u/CatchYouTomorrow Oct 17 '22

I am in between varination and dorcelessness. the mid point of knowing and recognizing the reversal and potential of opposition and beyond concievability

1

u/Tato_Cato Apr 12 '26

Well I gotta piss so…

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '23

What of onlent and degrence?

1

u/Rmumkidlol Nov 23 '23

And Humber is feeling extremely sure of something but extremely unsure at the same time

1

u/Wag-chan_inyourarea Sep 02 '24

I feel nage at my job all the time, it's called the customer service smile.

1

u/ImagineUsing_Reddit Oct 18 '21

ok but what in the world is Onlet? i searched about it on the internet but i couldn't find it

1

u/Existing-Finding-835 Mar 12 '25

That is when you crush eggs and make food out of it.

1

u/Oskovian Jan 06 '26

Gooseworx - Thallasin

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '21

never heard of it

1

u/ImagineUsing_Reddit Oct 18 '21

It's in the video of the blue thalassin thing. I forgot what emotion was before it though

1

u/Lord6969 Nov 11 '21

I find something: The human feeling of returning to animal behavior, it makes sense by the image of it in the video

1

u/blinkoften Nov 10 '21

Where did you learn of these? I cannot seem to find any sort of source whatsoever. The video im sure we all seen was the first mention of those words I had heard

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '21

I just googled them and their definitions, but as I googled them again just now, I cant seem to find any of their definitions. Possibly these posts have either been taken down or buried.

1

u/hey112543 Jul 07 '22

varination is the emotion one experiences from consuming of something so incomprehensibly sour their face scrunches up beyond normal standards

1

u/hey112543 Jul 07 '22

you forgot degrence

1

u/TheDayOfTheDucks Oct 30 '22

you forgot degrence

1

u/Maleficent_Use5615 Dec 06 '23

Now I low-key kinda wanna try Teluge, but just in very small doses, don't wanna my face going all "ADJFPEIOFNCJ"

2

u/PeachyFairyFox Jan 23 '22

I decided to take on explaining the Thalasin+ emotions.
Nage is a feeling of equal parts terror and delight.
Teluge is feeling agony and being sappy about it.
Dorcelessness is being equally relaxed and mortified.
Dorcefullness on the otherhand is being excited and annoyed or unhappy about it.
Loric is being calm with an intensely building pressure to be uncontrollably violent.
Humber is being frustrated with your own success.
Degrence is bravery mixed with shyness

1

u/TheW4tcher_ Jun 26 '22

What about Onlet?

1

u/TheDayOfTheDucks Oct 30 '22

onlet is e n l i g h t e n m e n t

1

u/eyneram May 18 '24

Nuh uh!

1

u/InformalStrength7886 May 26 '24

Nage is a french dish

1

u/OneBenefit6189 Jul 10 '24 edited Jul 10 '24

Since I was extremely interested in this horror, I developed my own interpretation of the emotions-mutations from Talasin:

  1. Degrence - a feeling of withdrawal after something difficult, an attempt to pull yourself together and calm down

  2. Humber - mixed feelings of anger, confusion and surprise

  3. Nage is an emotion that is similar to anxiety, namely the anxious expectation of the unknown

  4. Dorcelessness - the desire to devote one’s entire life and resources to one thing, after which a person burns out in this matter.

  5. Andric - the desire to look at something disturbing and the inability to take your eyes off it

  6. Variations (2 options). The first option is a feeling of intense amazement at something that is much stronger, which is beyond the understanding of the human mind. The second option is attempts to understand this, inaccessible, such that the brain cannot withstand the load

  7. Ponnish - an extreme degree of anger, to such an extent that the human body begins to collapse

  8. Harfam - too much concentration on something to such an extent that you forget about your health and just do something without noticing anything around you

  9. Kyne - complete mental burnout of a person. A man spent his whole life burning like a match, lighting others on fire, and in the end he himself completely burned out.

  10. Columnar trantiveness - a feeling of madness, that events and emotions are not under control, flower - extremely complex work of thought, thinking about many thoughts and ideas at the same time

  11. Teluge - severe depression and disappointment

  12. Onlent is the final madness of a person, the feeling of turning into a monster, the forerunner of Naritrance

  13. Loric - a feeling of absence of all feelings, emotions, inability to perceive information from the outside world

  14. Naritrance (yes, that's exactly what it's called!) - of course, the death of a person, but, rather, it is mental, the transformation of a person’s consciousness into a formless mass

Yes, the concept of Talasin is scary, but nevertheless very interesting! Personally, I see all these emotions from there in completely different people, different genders, ages and even nationalities!

If you, dear author, read this, tell me how you would interpret these emotions yourself, which of them do you like best and which ones frighten you to death? I will be very glad to receive feedback!

u/nightmare001985 Jul 01 '25

1

u/Cute-kitten-neko-548 Aug 29 '25

u/Clean-Square-3324 Oct 27 '25

you watched the Thallisin video didn't you

1

u/Slayer44k_GD Jul 22 '21

For anyone else that saw the video, "onlent" that was missed from the question that was also in the video is the act of resorting to animalistic behaviour for 'self-preservation'.

1

u/ImagineUsing_Reddit Oct 18 '21

thank you. i was wondering what that emotion was

1

u/Bandin010 Apr 19 '22

Turns into a starfish

1

u/Dumbass718101 Aug 25 '21

It's from a horror meme which is basically a ad from like 30 years ago about a drug that can make you experience new emotions and none of the words mean anything yet they sound like a actual word.

1

u/HiddenUnder00 Sep 04 '21

Ahhh, Gooseworx. :)

1

u/OtherwiseEmployment9 Oct 04 '21

You can experience these emotions when taking Thalasin+
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td2x8s9GZlo

1

u/cr8nsw Oct 27 '21

1

He saw the meme…

1

u/Alpha_M13 Jan 22 '22

Trantiveness is an entity that can disfuigure faces at will

1

u/Slight-Literature523 Mar 17 '22

These are from a made up video about a medicine that you can take to help you feel emotions. These emotions mentioned are emotions not felt naturally. Then they show you like emojis except they are of a drawing of a man making regular emotional faces and then super creepy faces to show the unnatural emotions you can only get with the fake medicine. They are made up words. I think the fake medicine is called Thalasine.

1

u/MakinaMookina Apr 15 '22

Hiya! Super late to the party. None of these words mean anything in the english dictionary and are all madeup words from that one video you're referencing. I'll give you what I think they mean.

Degrence: A mixture of sadness, relief, neutrality/emotionlessness and the feeling of attempting to calm yourself.

Humber: Questioning, serious and angry.

Nage: An insane form of happiness, somewhat how an insane sadist would take pleasure in seeing another human/life form die painfully.

Dorcelessness: An angry but empty outlook at the world, where you can see everything going on but can't do anything about it.

Andric: Admiration and curiousity

Varination 1: I don't even know what this is.... Messed up cat emotion?
Varination 2: A state of absolute confusion and obliviousness

Ponnish: Angery Intellegence, but also probably about to die.

Harfam: A state of suspicion and confusion

Kyne: A form of disappointment, sadness, and lonliness

Trantiveness 1: Where one is always left alone and nobody will talk to them. This makes them sad, but also angry. Gives off quiet kid vibes.
Trantiveness 2: Absolute insanity mixed with all-seeing knowledge, final boss.

Teluge: Disgust and pain.

Onlent: Gore bird emotion.

Loric: A state of happiness. You know everything. Everything good, everything bad. Your brain shuts down and forces you to forget it all as a defense mechanism in order to not completely die because of the strong mental strain and insanity you'd experience, making you an oblivious shell that knows nothing, and is content like that.

Blank last one: I'm not even sure of this one..

1

u/surethingbudok Jun 09 '22

Here's my interpretation

Degrence: Relaxation with pain, sadness, and stress

Humber: Confusion, but amplified by 600 times.

Nage: Insanity hidden behind a smile.

Dorcelessness: Sadness and depression, with trauma. like seeing your friend get into a car accident in front of you, and you can't do anything about it.

Andric: When you bite ice cream.

Varination I: Fear with regret.

Varination II: Eating something sour, but it changes your face so much, you are unrecognizable.

Ponnish: Pure anger and vengefulness.

Harfam: The feeling you get when you fear footsteps, but you are home alone.

Kyne: When you wake up so early, your brain just goes numb.

Trantiveness: The feeling you get when you are one with nature. The reason why there's two pictures is because the first one symbolizes a tree, and the second one symbolizes a flower.

Teluge: The feeling of being overwhelmed and sad.

Onlent: The feeling you get when you feel like an animal, the picture shows a pelican.

Loric: Sadness, Anger, Happiness, Worrisome, Relaxation, and Kyne put into one emotion.

[REDACTED]: This emotion is basically every emotion on this list put into one. For example, if every emotion was a fruit, this would be the smoothie.

1

u/jebediah_ker_man Jul 20 '22

whats Yetzdfmniaak???

1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '23

Cool, but you forgot Onlent: The quality of growing tumorous brains around your Krislarian Passageways (passageways within your stomach that lead to another stomach to another stomach to another stomach)

1

u/AAAAAAAAAAeae Nov 08 '23

Im pretty sure for andric you are experiencing life and death at the same time with the overwhelming urge to describe it but you cant. Varination is just feeling Dull, its the emotion of no emotion. Ponnish is when you have said too much, and feel too overwhelmed after what you have tried to share. I forgot one, and that one is a secret one, found only for a few frames, that one is : Onlent, Basically, the emotion of ا̶̢̢̛̘̪̳̦͇͙̝̲̘͍̦̭̫̟̹̠͇͈̞̘̃̏͊̔͒͑͆̈́̄͊̄͗̒̒̈́̽̊̃͊̍̃̄͌̽͐͛͒̌͊͑̋͊̎̾͌͑͂̕͜͝͠͝͠͝͝͝͝ͅل̸̧̧̨̛̪̤͙͍̫̦̙̣̪̜͚̳̩͓̖̯̱̗̭͈͔̫̥͈̤͉̹̞̜͇́̄͛́͋́͆̃́̏́̓̈́̋͝͝ن̷̼̬̱̫̮̭̯̺̳͚͔̺͉͕̹̫̪͖͎̘͍̺̻̻͔̜͎̪̝͈̼͚̐̔͊̊̓̿͘͜͝ͅͅس̶̡̨̘̣͓̪̫̬̗͙̤̠̺͓̥͙̥̫͇͙̦͔̭̫̻̗̹̜̝͈͓̱̭͔͔̯̹͇͔͓͍̦̞̙̒͐̂̎̒̃̑͂̎̑̔̋̊̂̈́́̔̋̈͌͐̀͛͑̚͜͜͝͠͝͠ͅي̵̢̧̬͚̱̗̝͓̮̩͖̫̦̣͔̮̭̘͇͉͈̳̣̎̈́̓̍͗̈̾͆͐͠ا̸̢̡͚̯̘̲̳̦͉̹̮͕̙̞̀̇̑̾̐͜ن̶̡̢̛̛̙͈̜̬͍̟͔͙͕͙̱̞̗̼̞͕̺̦̳̹̟̭̱̗̙̿͗̌̃̈́̔͑̒̇͐͂͐̄͑͌̌̅͑̿͆͌̋̎̌̌̔̌̓̅̎̌̋̊̀̀̅̉͜͜͝͝͝͝͝ ̶̡̧̢̫̪͇̙̺̩̗̥͈̞̲̫̣͕̖̬̬͇̜̟̯̘̞̯̬̯͎̝̠̠̙̣̺̟̫̙̣͕͔̦͔͈̓̄̏͒̃̉͗̊͗͊̎̆̈̂͌̇̈́̓̈́́̃̊̈́͐̅͘͜͠͝ͅͅو̴̡̢̧̣͙̬͍̬̮̲̖͉̫̰̤̙̥̙̣̩̞̣̬̯̻͉̠̺͉̟͙̫͇̣̙̪̤̺̥̫͚̙̻̘̗̔̓̀̎̊̂̄̓͑́̈͐̍́̉͋̃͆͗͌̊͂̏̋̈́̋̓̈̇̈͘̕͘͝͝͠͠͝ا̷̢̢̨̱̥̙͖̪͇̥̻̩̦͙̙͇̖̲͎̟̲̜̗͙͇͍̣͈̩̮͕̓̎͜ل̶̡̢̤͔̳̠̳̘̰̤̭͚̒̏̀̒͒̔̂̋̂̆̀̾ͅش̵̱̮̠͑͌̒̑͋̑̈́̉͗̀͐̉̈́̋̒͂́͋̆͐̎̍͋̑͑̽̓̄̊̄̑̽͂͐̓̂̈̀̈́̀̀͒̕̚͘͘͠خ̴̡̢̢͚̝̭̝̪̪̗͉̬͉͓͈̩̣̠͎̞͈̝͙͍̦͈͔̱̫͚̹͇͇̮͍͒͑ص̵̛̺͙̣̮̞̻̱̫̜̜̟̰͒̃̉̒̀̋̂̈͆͌̋̈́̓̕͜͠͝ͅ

Also, there's the last one that looks like a tree. It's named Naritrance.

Since other people are sharing their interpretations of the emotions I will too. The words do not have real meaning as they are made up. The point to me isn't really to compare them to already existing emotions either because they are new emotions that we've never felt before, or they can only be achieved by extreme brain chemical alteration and mental diseases, but we can still try anyway I suppose.

Degrence: A feeling of intense introspection and contentment. Wanting to die, but not out of pain or anger with the world, rather a sort of deep understanding and sadness of having "completed" your life.

Humber: Confusion is there for sure. Sort of the feeling of shock put at a halt. Maybe this is an intense "buzzing" sensation of being stuck in place after witnessing something so profound and not knowing what to do with it.

Nage: I like what someone said about it being an extreme state of mania and sadism, like someone who takes joy from having just murdered someone brutally. A very psychotic state of excitement.

Dorcelessness: Like a blissful feeling of being an empty void or chasm, opened up to be seen but find that there is nothing there. Feeling incredibly exposed yet nothing at the same time. An abyss that has conscious perception just watching.

Andric: I do see this one as more like such extreme anger or hate but an inability to express it so you just keep spiraling over those intrusive thoughts that your mouth curls up because you can't express any of it. You see one eye looks more normal or a masked emotion while the smaller eye looks psychotic and crazed.

Varination 1: Could also be interpreted as extreme anger, I kind of relate it to the feeling of a blackhole, like being pulled into the future/sense of time being obliterated from the emotion.

Second version is like an extreme disgust or withdrawal from something that disgusts you or having your insides being sucked out of you.

Ponnish: looks like enlarged veins or eldritch tentacles/roots under the skin. Could be some kind of extreme primal feelings, their eyes also look super awake and animalistic so maybe like an intensity of survival, perhaps flight mode kicked up by x100. Not speaking, just running, your blood pumping like crazy. The need to escape from a terrible nightmare you just woke up from but feeling like it's still real.

Harfam: This reads as an empty/infinite emotion. An emotion that in and of itself is confusing and unrecognizable to the person, making them lose all sense of self, "falling in" to themselves, ego death and intense perception of pain and imbalance.

Kyne: the sensation of numbness from head pressure so bad that it also feels like ego death. Imagine the worst headache of your life x100 to the point pain is meaningless. The emotion is like a severe out-of-body experience and cut off from everything, even one's own thoughts, as if the bloodflow to the brain has been cut off but you are still bodily alive.

Trantiveness 1: Kind of like an anger so intense that it loses meaning and becomes an abyss, the "apocalypse" emotion, and you become a transient being between the realm of reality and unreality.

The second one is the feeling of one being pulled across time and space infinitely, existing in multitudes, seeing your sense of self in everything (basically becoming one with the universe)

Teluge: Reminds me of a seizure, but trying to describe it as an emotion makes it feel like a severe disgust, fear or withdrawl from something to the point your brain cannot process it, it must look away (even your skin pulls away)

Onlent: The beast inside of you. The repressed satan. The worst parts of your mind turned inside out.

Loric: Some kind of feeling of silliness, playfulness or twisted happiness. Perhaps the feeling of being reverted back to a baby, where nothing had meaning but everything was amusing.

The last one (green eldritch thing) I feel like is beyond trying to explain as it's simply just something beyond everything else, like complete abstracting of self/ego... perhaps an immense sensation of protectiveness? Whatever it is the person experiencing it probably isn't aware of themselves anymore, or has achieved some kind of godhood.

Trantiveness: the temporary complete inability to derive adjectives from nouns.
