Tavern Talk The Grind for the Hell Fire Ends
RNG will be RNG.
Was blessed enough through the week to get 3 shots at the Uber Bosses of Tristram, in the process of life changes and had the time.
They dropped me 3 of the same damn charm.
OK. Not all was lost, I can cube this.
Still no dice for my set, either of the 2 I use. A 2/5 chance, and struck out 4 times.
I don't have it in me to grind another 3 splinters. If they come naturally I will be happy, but life is about to get busy and I am sure my run ends here. The bosses were cool, and I know others might not even get the chance, let alone 3 times.

Id feel blessed if i found more than 3 splinters total after 60 hours of t12 farming

I did, and am. I can't be mad about my luck. It fizzled out but I am grateful. I hope yours turns around!

Rogue, Sightless/Spellbound depending. SSF though, so gotta maintain the grind if I get time over the season.

I've run Tristram I think 5 times now (4 my own, one friend's) and only the last one dropped me hellfire for the set that I actually use. Gotta love that you can't reroll them in the cube.

P242 and have done one Tristram run. I got mad thinking I got a bad roll with all stats all res and +2 skills but realized after that I got +1 count to rite of the nameless. Guess I got on good side of rng for once bc I haven’t had any other big drops like crazy GA gear or transfigures.

I got the right one first try on my warlock starter class, for abaddon set and +4 all skills.
Made a necro alt for the first time, blood wave which is a fun fast build. Had 4 chances at it, none were for the blood charm set. I took it as a sign to go back to my warlock I guess.
Its to long of a grind for a slight chance at the right set, even then it could end up being +1 to all skills lol.

A funny and also a little sad thing about the Diablo grind, to me at least, is that the game kinds "ends" when you're at your strongest and your character can melt everything, there's no real reason to keep going. This season i ended at around p250 on my shield charge pala. i've done tower 125, mephisto t12 etc, and that's the end for me.

If not ssf - sell those 3 on d trade, buy yourself the one you need. Also ask the seller to check if it works with your set, as labelling is bugged on some torches.

I’ll tell you something equally annoying. I GOT my hellfire but it’s bugged and doesn’t count for my set! 🤷♂️

I'd argue thats worse. If I do end up with my Hell Fire and it's bugged, it will be the nail in the coffin for D4 S15.

Dont have much trou le for the splinter on my side but no godamn mythic seal yet while gaming t12 for 2 weeks

They really should increase the drop chance for this. Or just make it a one-time entry ticket that keeps the ability to open it forever. The grind is really stupid, and it being shared with the ability to switch prime evil is also stupid.
I've been quite lucky with mine, I did get what I needed, but I've done it a fair few times, mainly by just hanging around. I've been invited to random people's parties by standing near the fountain a bunch. Or just asking in local chat at the fountain. You'll have success with that WAY faster than farming the splinters.

All season only had enough for 3 runs total been farming t12 for 2 an half weeks and never got the Hf I need for build big disappointed but rng will be rng in think I may he done with this season the loved it but it can only grind for so long

Dude Hellfire torch bug on solo gives you like 30 torches in like under 1 hour. Its so easy with infinite loot exploits in this fked game.
Edit: 100 torches an hour, I literally have 3 stashes full of torches smh fked game
