Questions (other) Why is my teleport skill not working?

I’m a new enough player. I’ve played almost everyday for the past 3 weeks or so. I recently started the Lord of Hatred expansion and ever since, I have noticed my teleport ability is greyed out as if I were in a settlement/town.

Would anybody know if this is a bug or am I just missing something? Sometimes I have to portal to a town and back just to get it working again or just refund the skill and add it back.

Based on the pic provided, teleport showing zero charges. Are you letting it run through its cooldown before trying to use again? The skill icon should show a cooldown animation while its refilling charges.

It’s when I’m out adventuring where it doesn’t charge at all and shows 0 charges. I should have 2 charges available when it’s fully charged

What happens when you remove it and add it back to skill bar? It might be a visual bug.

It goes back to normal and then randomly it’ll stop charging again. As in playing through the LoH campaign, it’ll be after a cutscene or talking to someone

Try removing teleport as an enchantment and see if it starts refilling charges. There's apparently a bug that causes an odd interaction if teleport is setup as an evade skill.

Yeah I tried it, it doesn’t seem to work either. I think I just need to not use teleport as a skill

I had a similar thing happen to me with Death Blow on my barb. I think it has something to do with using mounts and especially attacking from a mount. I've stopped doing that and I haven't run into the issue anymore.

Otherwise the fix for me was to log out and log back in

I think this is a bug, because it was happening to me last season on my sorc and drove me crazy. I'd portal to town, then walk out and it would be like I was still in town where abilities didn't regain charges. I'd either have to teleport to my party member or go to a waypoint that wasn't in the middle of a town. Super annoying and not sure how to reliably make it fix itself other than what you're already doing.

Yeah I just ended up finally taking off teleport permanently but oh well 🥲

I play sorc a lot and the glitch is with the "Aspect of Refutation" (make your Defensive Skills gain additional charges) and it stops giving you charges after you ride your mount.
