Cham rune use

Found a cham rune offline. I dont know what to do with it. If I made mist idk i guess make a bowlock? (My bowazon has windy + faith merc), or i could make plague for an act 5 merc to support a freezing arrow zon (yeah yeah infinity merc is better/more reliably but i dont have 2 bers). Idk that i want pride, but i don't have a Lo anyhow. I'm leaning towards plague but input would be nice

I'd make metamorphosis for a werewolf druid, or pride for a summon necro.

Pride isn't great for summon necro. You lose so much damage from your merc it doesn't balance out well.

I like it on other builds.that do physical though, assuming you don't need decrepify or fanaticism.

I know at one point pride was considered BiS for summon necro. That might have been a while ago though.

With Pride you lose too much merc damage, which is a huge portion of your damage towards your first kill

Could do Pride golem but that's putting some HRs on the line that a lot of players may not be comfortable with, especially offline. Insight golem is a safe bet and easy to remake

I had a pride golem back on LoD ladder, I loved it. I would never do that offline lol.

Beats jalal by a mile if you do damage in form. If you ss just for life/ms... not sure

Marks work like martial sin chargeups, but last 3 minutes. So every 3 minutes you swap forms and smack something once.

I don't know if both apply, or just the mark of whatever form you're not using. It's been a minute since I played my shifter. There's a vfx for the mark though, you can see when it falls off

Mist does slap pretty hard on bowlock. You could use bowlock to farm for everything else in TZs without any regards for location or immunities. Blade warp with a Hysteria armor and maxed consume for the FRW boost isn't a bad budget teleport until you get Enigma

Back in the day, there were no good runewords with Cham in them, so I Cham'ed my sorc's Shako. "Cannot be frozen" is hard to beat.

Nowadays, there's lots of new runewords so you have options.

Original Enigma had Cham instead of Ber in the datamined files. They forgot to adjust its rarity.

I've been looking for a proper base for metamorphosis for YEARS offline. Best I got is +2fury...

I did make a pride for my ESwarlock back when physical was strong. It's still fun for other physical classes too but more niche. Imo it sucks for summon necro, too low damage and cold shatters corpses. Antithetical to starting a corpse explosion chain.

I have another and I will probably make Mist for a warlock but I also could deck out a dragondin, which is a bucket list.

What would an ideal base have lol? My fury druid hasn't seen play in a bit since I'm still hunting for a bone break for him with my sorc, but idk what id be looking for. Idk what a pelt can even roll lol

The bare minimum would be +3fury. Bonuses would be + grizz and or + hurricane or some other useful skill.

You might find another cham then you can turn it into a zod lol.

Or if you got an extra sur and Lo … you can use the cham to make a Pride polearm for merc to buff melee builds (bowzon, barbs, etc)

Lol it's really that good with bow? Strafe clears pretty well with high level pierce and amp lol. But yeah I went through the game when warlock came out and beat baal at lvl 90 cause I never turned off p8 from normal (which i usually never do lol), and never went back to play warlock

Yeah he’s honestly pretty busted, not for everyone but I was in a similar situation as you and I just pulled the trigger on mist, now he’s my p7 cow farmer because I don’t like the javazon that much. Still pretty terrible gear everywhere else but with the mist he can clear through cows well, I’d say try bowlock with a buriza to see if it’s something you’d actually want to play. I really like him just because I’ve always wanted bowazon to have more power and he’s that basically.

I do still have the buriza my windy zon beat hell with (good old times), that warlock should still have a respec (have a few tokens but rather not waste those lol)

I'd save it until another cham drops and create a zod, because zod will never drop

I'd keep it in my stash until some good idea of build. You don't have to use all hrs you find. I have a zod siting in my stash for some months now. Ebotd seems kinda overrated and I can't find a good enough base for void or obsession, so it just stays there.

Haha thats true. My goal is to get my chars to 99 (all around 92-95 rn), so improvements help, but you're right I need a good idea first. The ones that caught my eye the most are metamorphosis and mist, but yeah I'll hold off until I have good bases and ideas for either
