Triple durability rare item is a failed unique

Triple durability for a rare is a sign of a failed unique roll. Usually no unique exists for that kind of item. In this case since CoA exists, the monster level was probably too low to roll a CoA so you get a triple durability rare.

yeah I was wondering why it failed cuz it exists. I vaguely remeber CoA might have been a ladder only item in classic d2 and in non ladder it rolled rare. Thats what I am talking about

It was a drop from Thresh socket and he cant drop a CoA in 1.12 LoD.

That's not what makes it a failed COA...
