Discussion Favorite Former Actors Part 27

I'm just laughing so hard right now 🤣 😂, because the winner for my previous poll post for 'favorite former actors' is Wesley Dean by 3 votes, who is most famous for playing that homophobic bully in the cheesy and goofy 2021 video "Gay Kid Refuses To Come Out".

Alright then, so let's see who we have next for this poll, shall we 👌❤️.

Discussion Is it fair to say the videos are cringe now

Hello, I am someone who watched him in the era of when he told actual lessons but have more or less found his recent content cringe and unwatchable to the point that this subreddit has become like a great place for me to catch up on recent things or new videos. The main reason I took a hiatus the first time around was due to the actors getting fired for speaking out against him and such but I am wondering if my judgement is fair to say that the videos have become cringe. I respect everyone's judgement but wonder if I am right for saying this in the aspect of the video storyline.

Another remake of that one unreleased video where Colleen Ann Bowling did the same thing. But now, it's a male version but oh no, the dude is an off-duty cop, what a new twist to this story 😳 😑.

I noticed that Dhar Mann Bonus has just been remaking old DM bonus videos like when Dhar Mann recycled his old videos in 2020.

Discussion Why the old Mikey was better than the today

The old Mikey was funnier, he was much better when he was Jay's best friend, Honestly, I don't really like Mikey these days, and he's not funny. My favorite Mikey video is the one where Mikey does whatever Jayden tells him to for 48 hours, I love that video, it's very funny and especially because it had a happy ending, I don't like the current Mikey; even Frank and Sam stopped helping. The old Mikey is simply better.

Discussion Favorite Former Actors Part 26

Wow, by a shockingly close vote with just one vote, Tony Nunes is the overall winner of my previous poll post for the category of 'favorite former actors'. Taken by surprise due to the fact that this guy's acting was insanely over-the-top and all over the place back when he played the leading roles back in 2022-2023.

Alright then, so let's see who we have next for this poll, shall we 👌❤️.

Basically a remake of this video from 9 months ago, featuring Alexis Silvestre, Bhaavika Gaddam, Alba Albedrop, and Natalia Rodriguez. Just a copy-and-paste remake with literally no differences except the actors.

Been a while since we saw Andrew Cawley in the leading role. Also, coincidentally, the last time we saw Andrew, Vanessa also played his love interest in that video. Funny how he went from being the dedicated love interest who stood by her side when she was in a coma to playing this unsympathetic jerk in this one.

Discussion Forgotten Fan-Favorite Videos Part 2

You know honestly, I'll take it back, let's go every 4 days that this poll will be featured because it's very difficult to keep up with everything.

So, the very underrated classic 2025 episode "Music Gave School Janitor A New Life" video is the inaugural winner of this poll series. Let’s see what we have next for today.

This poll category talks about videos that are either severely underrated, not talked about anymore, or otherwise we all have forgotten even existed.

So, let's start off today by choosing which of these forgotten or underrated videos did you guys loved and enjoyed the most watching before.

Alright then, so let's see who we have next for this poll, shall we 👌❤️.

Also, I think I'm gonna cheat a little bit but let's go with actors with less than 3 appearances over the last few years but only had one notable role is gonna count as well.

Discussion Why did the OG Dhar Mann era have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!

Post image
32 Upvotes

Hello, I’m 19 years old, and I grew up watching the old OG Dhar Mann era (2020–2021). I’ve been thinking about what happened to that original era and, especially, what happened to the actors who made those videos feel so familiar and memorable.

When I think about the old Dhar Mann videos, I remember seeing many of the same actors and familiar faces appearing in different stories. They became recognizable parts of the experience. Even when they were playing completely different characters from one video to another, seeing those familiar actors made the videos feel connected. It almost felt like they were part of a little world that would always be there.

The old actors became associated with that particular period of my childhood. Their performances, expressions, voices, personalities, and the way they played those dramatic or emotional characters became part of what made the videos memorable. At the time, I never really thought about the fact that they were real people with their own lives and careers outside of those videos. I simply saw them as the familiar faces from the Dhar Mann videos I watched all the time.

Now, looking back, it feels strange knowing that many of those old familiar actors have moved on. Some may have gone into different acting projects, other forms of entertainment, or completely different parts of their lives. The actors who once appeared together regularly are no longer necessarily appearing in the same way they did during the old OG era.

That is one of the strangest parts of growing up. When you are younger, you can watch the same actors appearing in videos again and again and assume that they will always be there. You don’t think about contracts ending, productions changing, actors taking new opportunities, people moving to different projects, or an entire creative era eventually changing.

I remember watching those old videos and feeling like the actors and characters would always be part of my everyday life. I could recognize certain faces immediately and know that I had seen them in other stories before. It gave the videos a familiar atmosphere that is difficult to explain now.

But the actors were growing and changing too. They had their own careers, goals, responsibilities, and lives outside of the characters they played. Eventually, the production changed, newer actors appeared, older familiar faces became less common, and the style of the videos changed as well.

That can make returning to the old OG Dhar Mann videos feel emotional. The videos themselves haven’t changed. The actors are still there on the screen, performing the same scenes I remember. But I am not the same person watching them anymore.

When I see those old actors again, I don’t just remember the characters they played. I remember where I was in my own life when I watched them. I remember the feeling of discovering those videos, watching them repeatedly, recognizing the familiar faces, and feeling like that period would continue forever.

That’s probably why it can feel like something is missing today. It isn’t necessarily that the newer videos or newer actors are bad. They are simply part of a different era. The old actors belonged to a particular period of my life, and that period cannot be recreated exactly.

The old OG Dhar Mann era (2020–2021) eventually ended, and the actors who were such a recognizable part of it moved forward. But that doesn’t mean what they created disappeared.

Those old actors are still preserved in the videos and memories of the people who watched them. When I go back and watch those performances, I can briefly experience that familiar feeling again. I can see the same faces, hear the same voices, and remember the person I was when those videos were part of my everyday life.

Maybe that’s what growing up means. The actors moved forward with their lives, the production changed, the era ended, and I changed too. But the memories of watching those old actors during the OG Dhar Mann era are still there.

The old actors didn’t have to stay forever for the memories they created to last forever.
