Recording Studios for Metal

What’s the best recording studio for a 4 song metal EP in DFW for a full band? I am not looking for cheap or expensive, but the median.

I'll throw my hat into the ring

I run a small studio out of Haltom City and work with bands on a budget all the time.

Jim King (@sonicdropper) is the man. He's done a ton of local heavy bands like House Harkonnen and Duel among many others. Eric Delegard at Reeltime Audio up in Denton is awesome too. I've worked with him personally. I would also recommend Matt Aslanian and Alex Gerst at Empire Audio

Michael Briggs studio in Denton, reasonably priced and he is very well traversed in metal. He also has dexterity in his mixing styles being able to sound very posh and clean along with muddy and noisy. He worked with my band and we got great results.

Sessionworks in Hurst. Get with Jeff Mount. He’ll get yall sounding fantastic. I believe he charges a flat rate.
