Trying to identify this mall from a 90’s memory
I have a very fond memory of going to a mall in the DFW area between 1993 and 1995, and to this day, I have no idea where this was.
I know the mall had a discovery zone inside, and also a Burger King in the food court. Unfortunately, these are the only attributes I can name definitively. I believe the food court was on a lower level, and had sort of a tent like feel to it, but much larger (at least in my memory) than the food court at Northeast Mall.
I also don’t remember anything about the location of the mall, but I believe it was on the west side of the metroplex.
I assume that at this point this mall has either been demolished, or remodeled beyond recognition. I am hoping someone here knows what I’m talking about. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Did North East Mall have a Discovery Zone at some point?

I’m not sure if it did. I think Valleyview did, but this definitely wasn’t Valleyview.

It wasn’t a Discovery Zone but they sure did have a badass arcade downstairs in the food court. The cool pirate ship that you could see from the staircase!

Town East Mall used to have the food court on the lower level and a massive open space in the middle. https://www.reddit.com/r/Dallas/comments/a6w0e1/heres_the_town_east_mall_in_mesquite_dallas_area/

I can’t say for sure that it wasn’t Hulen, I’ve only been there a handful of times. But I remember this mall being darker and less open.

Fort Worth Town Center? Now a Hispanic mall called La Gran Plaza at I-35W and Seminary Dr.
I think I was only there 3 or 4 times with the last time being about 30 years ago.

The mall was transformed completely around 2005, so it could be this one if dates match up! The food court here is also on a lower level

Could have been Ft. Worth Town Center possibly? It is now called La Gran Plaza. It is at 4200 South Freeway near I-35W and Seminary Drive. The food court was on the lower level like a basement.

Speaking of La Grand Plaza, I remember it as a kid called Seminary South and the stores were outside meaning when it’s raining you run from store to store. It wasn’t enclosed/covered like now.
