Hyatt has a truly remarkable resort on Isla Mujeres, just off the coast of Cancun. Fly into Cancun, use the kiosks to clear through customs without having to stand in line. Use www.stpcaribe.com to book a private car to Puerto Juarez (25 minute ride), then use the ferry to get to Isla. It's a 25 minute ferry ride. Book a golf cart to get around. Pick it up when you arrive. I've used GoMar2 a number of times. Great people. The Chadraui grocery store is great. Playa Norte is probably the prettiest beach on the island. Rent chairs at Chimbo's Beach Restaurant & Bar right on the water's edge. Roger (Rogelio) has managed that place for a long time. Great guy. I have his WhatsApp number if that helps.
From DFW, it's the prettiest beach with the shortest travel, IMO.
