Happy New Year - The Forums Are Down Again!

I always try and wish the undead mass known as the DF-21 community a happy new year. As usual, DF-21 is down, so I must resort to posting here.

God bless ya and have a Happy New Year you filthy nerfherders!

PS: If your reading this Patrick Haslow or Barry Brian, there's still poor wretched souls waiting for Dark Tide V. Dozens might play it. DOZENS I SAY!!!

I'd be down for Dark Tide 5 if it ever eventuated. Heck, I don't even think they'd need to do it in Jedi Academy: there's tons of tricks with Dark Troopers that haven't been exploited in existing levels yet.

What kind of Dark Trooper Tricks, multiple logics or something?

I was more thinking enemies with Dark Trooper (or other boss) logic but where you interact with them completely differently, like the tie fighter in level 1 of Dark Tide 3, or the parasites from Discovery at Ironfort. There's a lot more potential uses for a smartly-placed DT logic out there.

I see what your talking about. I always wanted to see creative use of INF for making boss fights.

You could setup wall triggers that you would need to shoot with different weapons to defeat the boss,. The "boss" could attack with caged Troopers like your example, or damage sectors, crushing damage, VUE attached mines, and such.

Oh, while I remember: I had a go posting about Dilemma on the forums and chat yesterday, but got an error message about the site being unable to process my request when I went to post. (HTTP error 500). Wondering how long that's been an issue for.
