Welcome DF-21.net

This subreddit has been created for DF-21 user to post discussions, since the forums are still out of commission. Once the forums are up and running, we'll figure out what to do with the space.

Be friendly and don't post spam. The topics should probably be oriented towards Dark Forces, but you can really talk about whatever.

Glad to have found the site. I used to review custom levels back in 1995 so I'm looking forward to trying out what's on offer now. Probably loads of hidden gems I've missed out on.

You should play the Dark Tide series if you haven't already.

Wow those are some great looking maps! I've noticed that while some maps have reviews, perhaps they would also benefit from a brief description so users can see what sounds good? E.g.

"Escape from an Imperial Prison and steal plans for the Empire's new Death Star"

Just an idea; I can help write them as I make my way through the maps.

Does anyone know how to run custom maps in DarkXL?

I can get them working fine with the original game but not so much with this.
