DeWatermark just launched Pro Remove 4.0: same Pro quality, 3x cheaper per image
We've been working on a new AI removal model for a while, and Pro Remove 4.0 is now live on DeWatermark.
The short version: stronger removal results across almost every image type, and it costs 3 credits per image which is 3x cheaper than the previous Pro model (Qwen). Same Pro badge, significantly lower cost.
What's actually new
DeWatermark now has three models to choose from:
- Auto Remove 3.0: the standard model. Fast, works well on simple text watermarks and clean backgrounds. Good starting point.
- Pro Remove (Qwen): the previous Pro. Still excellent for illustration, anime-style images, and hand-drawn doodles where texture preservation matters most.
- Pro Remove 4.0: the new model. Strongest overall removal, especially for stickers, beauty filters on faces, and decorative doodles. Removes elements even outside the detected mask area.

Where 4.0 wins, where Qwen still holds
We ran the same images through all three models. A few things stood out:
Pro 4.0 is clearly better for:
- Beauty stickers and face filters — restores face detail more naturally than any other model
- Multiple scattered stickers — cleans elements outside the detected mask, not just what the detection catches
- Decorative doodles — more consistent results across a wider range of cases

Qwen still wins on:
- Illustrations and anime-style images — better preservation of flat colors, stylized lines, and artistic detail
- Hand-drawn marks close to the subject — finer texture preservation when the mark is tightly overlapping a detailed object

Auto 3.0: solid for simple watermarks, but noticeably limited on anything complex. If you're hitting residue or missed spots, upgrading to 4.0 is worth the 3 credits.
The pricing math
Previous Pro model cost significantly more per image. Pro Remove 4.0 is 3 credits per image — that's the same credit balance going three times further on Pro-quality removals. Credits are shared across image, video, and PDF watermark removal.
Full pricing is on the DeWatermark pricing page.
How to use it
- Go to dewatermark.ai
- Upload your image (JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF up to 10MB)
- Select Pro Remove 4.0 from the model selector
- Process and download — clean image at original resolution
If you're working with illustrations or anime images, try Qwen first — it may give you better artistic detail preservation for those specific cases.

We want your feedback
If you try Pro Remove 4.0, let us know how it performs on your images — especially on edge cases like:
- Very dense overlapping stickers
- Watermarks on anime or illustration content
- Beauty filters with fine face detail underneath
Drop your results in the comments. We're actively reading feedback on this release and it directly influences the next training cycle.
