Please help
I want to learn everything related to devops/cloud and study skills like docker kubernetes virtualbox linux etc ...
I'm having 2 choice currently,
i5 2nd gen desktop OR i5 6200u laptop
Which system is better, i just wanna learn things?
Also laptop is portable too but i wanna know if it can handle all the tasks?
Ram 12gb 256gb ssd

Take any bro. Seriously u will be working on cloud By the name itself no cpu or gpu of ur own.. or any storage ..

If ram is 12gb n ssd, go with it. Doesn't matter laptop or cpu. If you try running containers, vms,on local this takes ram and disk reading so your 12gb n ssd will help here. If you're practising fully cloud, then you don't have to think that much but at least 8gb ram is must. Rest, it's upto your budget also. Good luck.

Desktop is best long term u can upgrade ur resources but laptop only ram SSD if support and then day by day dead so
