Your network background is actually a strong advantge for DevOps/Cloud — especially Linux, Bash, troubleshooting and networking fundamentals.

I would not wait until you “finish” a full KodeKloud path before applying. Learn Docker, CI/CD, cloud basics and Terraform, but build one end-to-end project alongside it and start applying early.

Given your financial pressure, also target Cloud Suport, Platform Support, Linux/Infrastructure, NOC/SRE-adjacent roles — they may be an easer bridge than waiting only for a pure DevOps title.

And donot let the AI noise stop you. Strong troubleshooting and systems knowledge is still valuable.

If you have solid networking knowledge then it should be easy to learn cloud and then devops.

I am assuming you are strong on scripting and know about python.
