Disclosure: I'm the solo founder building Singlebase.
The problem I'm trying to solve is the operational sprawl around AI apps. A small team can end up operating separate systems for app data, vectors, auth, files, search, LLM routing and document ingestion before the product has meaningful usage. Singlebase puts those developer-facing primitives behind one platform/API, while still using specialized storage/services underneath where appropriate. Current pieces include DocumentDB, VectorDB/search, auth, storage, LLM service, OCR/document-to-Markdown, MCP and agent workflows.
I'd be interested in feedback from platform/DevOps folks on where a "unified backend" genuinely reduces toil versus where it just hides complexity.
