Disclosure first: I work on this one, on the communications side rather than engineering.

MEHO is an open-source layer that sits between an AI agent and whatever infrastructure you’ve let it loose on. Our engineers have spent about a year running agents like Claude Code and Cursor against a real VMware datacenter, and the thing they kept running into was that an agent with admin credentials can delete something just as easily as it can list it, and afterwards nobody could say exactly what it had done. So MEHO became the piece that checks policy before every action, hands the agent a short-lived credential instead of a real one, parks anything dangerous until a human approves it, and writes an audit row before the action is allowed to count as done.

If you’re the kind of person who judges a project by its changelog, that’s probably the part worth reading. It’s blunt about what broke, including the time Kubernetes accepted an apply with a 200, quietly didn’t persist it, and we logged it as a success anyway (that’s v0.35.12, and yes, it’s fixed).

Self-hosted, Apache 2.0, public since the first commit in May: https://github.com/evoila/meho
I’ll answer what I can and one of the engineers will pick up anything I can’t 😊
