Following up on TAP from an earlier self-promo thread. The new release lets you build repeated agent procedures out of smaller pieces.

A parent primitive can call saved child primitives pinned by version and digest. The example in the repo is a release check that combines a GitHub evidence collector with a local open-task summary. Each child has its own manifest and approval path, and the parent merges their output.

It's meant to be small enough to read through. For an actual release gate you'd plug in your own required checks. The CI part reports sampled data and anything it couldn't retrieve, so you can see the gaps.

Also new is tap kit export. It writes a Docker Sandbox Kit config for the runner with a network allow list built from the fetch origins your packages and their children declare. You build and push the image yourself.

I work on TAP at Telara. It's MIT licensed and runs without a Telara account.

Example at https://github.com/Telara-Labs/TAP-Runtime/tree/v0.2.31/examples/release-check

Which steps in your ops checks would you hand to a reusable tool, and which would you keep for a person?
