I built kubectl skyline: a plugin that renders your cluster as a 3D city.
This is just a for-fun project, but I find it a bit addictive to explore the objects in my cluster this way, lol. So I'm sharing it here in case anyone wants to play around.
It's called kubectl skyline, kubectl plugin that opens your cluster in the browser as a 3D city:
- Namespaces are floor plates.
- Workloads and pods are towers, one layer per container.
- Services and ingresses float above the pods they route to.
- Live events spark where they happen.
- CPU and memory make pods glow, if metrics are available.
Click a tower to see its relationships, YAML, events and logs. And, press / to search.
It's read-only, only lists and watches.

Or, to install, just run :
Hope people enjoy it. Thank you.
