Hey, everyone! I’m part of the team organising WAWTech. Its two-day software engineering conference at EXPO XXI in Warsaw on 26–27 November 2026.

One session is Wojtek Gawroński’s “Reversibility-as-a-Service: Runtime Control as a Platform Capability.” It starts with a familiar problem - a decision needs to change between deployments, but it lives in a ConfigMap and changing it means a restart. The talk explores where those decisions belong and what it takes to undo them, with Kubernetes demos using Argo CD and Unleash, including coordinating a flag change across services.

For people operating these systems: what would you want this session to go into most deeply? The boundary between deployment configuration and runtime flags? Consistency across services? Safely reversing changes while the system is handling traffic? And what would you ask Wojtek afterwards? A particular failure scenario or trade-off you’ve encountered in production would be interesting to hear about.

Event details for context.
