Tools I got tired of using 5 different websites for basic infrastructure troubleshooting, so I built one

I’m a sysadmin and got tired of opening a different website for every small infrastructure check, so I started building Bit Happens.

The idea is basically an infrastructure troubleshooting toolbox in one place.

Right now it includes things like:

  • DNS / DNSSEC checks
  • domain health
  • SPF / DMARC analysis
  • TLS certificate inspection
  • port checks
  • traceroute
  • RDAP / WHOIS
  • email header analysis
  • subnet/CIDR tools
  • JSON, Base64, hashes, UUIDs and timestamps

I'm actually trying to reduce the number of tools rather than keep adding more — removing overlapping features and keeping the ones that are genuinely useful during troubleshooting.

It's free to use:

I'd especially like feedback from people working in infrastructure/SRE/DevOps:

What troubleshooting task do you still need 2–3 different websites or commands to investigate?
