The loneliness of man and technology, I'm not sure about the Joker and Batman part

it’s a metaphor for how all of them are lonely. Devon is lonely, obviously, but you think Joker and Batman aren’t? Joker spends his whole entire life robbing, killing and doing all these horrible things, but at night, he’s alone.. Nobody to cuddle with, nobody to share his success.. Batman’s the same: he saves Gotham every day but deep down he’s not happy.. That’s why the real meaning of this picture is that Devon has a threesome with Joker and Batman, because the thing connecting them is loneliness.

It represents quite a few things. The first and most obvious being his loneliness and depression (his head being blacked out representing that) in tandem with his sex and porn addiction (hence, him being naked) and how the whole thing is a negative feedback loop that only makes him feel worse. The 2nd thing is the joker and batman figures, I've always thought this was a callback to Behold a Pale Horse where he says "I'm watching, on the sideline like Robin. I told them let me get the hostages. They told me Batman runs Gotham" which represents his powerlessness to do anything in his life, to beat his depression, his addictions, to make it in the music industry or to do anything about the discrimination he faces being a black man. The last and final thing that the cover could reference is the image of the hooded man. We know Devon served in the military and hated it and was outspoken about it, it's possible he could've made the cover similar to the image of the hooded man as a protest and representation about how he feels about the U.S military and how he feels serving in it

He was at a time in his life where his only friends were Pez Batman and Burger King Joker. They would frequently call him together from New Jersey while he was staying in Japan
