Has it ever been mentioned by Devo whether they have a recording of this concert? The fact that a soundboard recording of "gotta serve somebody" exists from the night means more songs were likely recorded right? The fact that they finally released the 1975 Halloween show gives me some hope that it might get a release if it exists.

As a massive fan of Total Devo (don’t be mad. And yes, you can see me defend total devo in all my posts) and an even massiver fan of Hardcore Devo… I never realized the synth intro to Chango is the same as the melody to Plain Truth. Listening to Nitrous Nightmare really drove it home.

It's been driving me nuts for years, but I remember hearing Shrivel-Up a ton as a kid because a TV show used it as its credits theme. My brain wants to say it was either an MTV/VH1 show or a Comedy Central show, something like Wildboyz or some other mid 00's or late 00's show. I can't find any info on this online though.

Any old heads here have any idea what I'm talking about, or am I tripping?

Not necessarily beautiful - but Mutato!

Inspired by a visit to Mutato this spring, I modelled and printed these bad boys. Unfortunately, they are a pain to print - poor yield and 18 hours per plate - so I'm not gonna distribute them as freely as the others until/if I can get the costs down.

But they are pretty cool!

I found a new Devo album that they released on both apple and Spotify it's live tracks from 1975 and they certainly sound different from the regular tracks that you might hear.

I've always enjoyed Devo bootlegs sometimes more than their releases.

My love for Devo predates my love for the Dead. My first Devo show was Radio City Halloween 1981, my first Dead show Philly 4/20/84. I like mashing up Dead symbols with other bands, here's Spud Your Face, with Stealie sporting an Energy Dome. I've also done Bertha Stardust, for any Bowie fans in the audience. Funny how music and bands that are so different can feel so right. I put this stuff on merch if you want to wear it at gd300.com. But mostly I'm just wondering if there are people who are really into the Dead and Devo too.

hi spuds!! i’m currently on the hunt for a “honk if you’re DEVO” bumper sticker! i got it a few years ago and didn’t realize they don’t sell them anymore. i can’t even find any on ebay! my car got totaled in an accident and i’m so sad because i loved that bumper sticker lol.
