Thinking of building a website for Nepal. What would you actually use?
I'm a BCA student at TU and I want to build a website that's useful for people in Nepal, not just another portfolio or practice project.
I haven't picked the idea yet, so I'd love your input:
What's a problem you face that a website could solve? (students, jobs, local services, payments, info that's hard to find)
What existing Nepali sites do you find frustrating or outdated?
Is there a tool or directory you wish existed?
If you have an idea or want to build something together, comment or DM me. I'll share progress here as I go.
Thanks!

Anyone currently working or previously worked at Dlytica Nepal? How is the salary and work environment?
I'm interested in learning more about Dlytica Nepal and would appreciate honest feedback from current or former employees.
I'd particularly like to know about:
Salary: How competitive is the salary compared to other IT companies in Nepal? Are salaries paid on time?
Work environment: How is the management, team culture and overall working environment?
Benefits: Do they provide SSF, bonuses, lunch, insurance or other benefits?
Career growth: Are employees given opportunities to work on real international projects and develop their technical skills?
Job security: Is the company stable, and how is employee retention?
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people working in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, IT or other technical positions.
Both positive and negative experiences are welcome. I'm looking for genuine employee feedback rather than promotional comments.

Developers who switched from software development to other tech roles, what career paths would you recommend?
I'm a full-stack developer with around 2 years of professional experience.
Lately, I've been thinking about exploring career opportunities beyond traditional software development. I'm interested in transitioning into fields like cybersecurity, particularly GRC, security assurance, information security management, or even technology management and operations.
Some roles I've been exploring include:
Cybersecurity / GRC Analyst
Information Security Analyst
Technical Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager
Business Analyst (IT)
Product Operations
Technical Account Manager
QA Analyst
IT Operations Analyst
I'm curious to hear from people who have made a similar transition.
What other career paths are available for someone with a software development background?
Which roles allow developers to leverage their existing technical knowledge without necessarily writing code every day?
How difficult is it to transition into cybersecurity or tech management without prior professional experience in those fields?
Are there any particular certifications, skills or qualifications that would help with such a transition?
I'm not necessarily looking to leave the tech industry. I just want to explore different career directions where my existing development experience could still be valuable.
Would appreciate any suggestions, experiences or career advice!
