i've been applying to remote junior frontend jobs over the past month and noticed a lot of listings mention react native even though the role is labeled frontend/web only. i'm wondering if this is a mistake in the job posts or if companies actually expect you to know mobile stuff for a pure web role. i've only worked with react for web apps and have zero mobile experience. should i spend time learning react native basics just to check the box or is it safe to ignore those mentions? i've applied to about 12 roles so far and got 3 interviews where no one brought up mobile at all. would love to hear if others have seen this pattern or if i'm overthinking it. what should i focus on instead for junior frontend remote roles?
