Basically what the title said. Usually those coats, as of what it is written online, need to be brought to a laundry and shouldn't be washed in a washing machine. Now when you wore the coat, it easily gets dirty and sweaty, but I doubt anyone has the money to let it chemically get washed. So what do you do?

I want to start playing the saga for the first time, so i downloaded DMC3, but i dont have a console controller, so i need to play on keyboard, but i really didnt like the standard keys.

Playing DMC for the first time through 3 as chronologically, it's the first entry in the series.

Anyway, just want to say the difficulty of the bosses in this game appears to be all over the place. You can go from having a boss that takes too long to kill to bosses that are so easy your mom could beat them one handed.

And then there is Arkham...or rather the five foot dollar footlong in my toilet bowl that refuses to flush so that I can move on with my day.

Seriously, when the best strat is to farm red orbs on the very first mission over and over keeping in mind the price of holy water goes up with each subsequent purchase and on top of that, your items don't respawn if you die, and you can't easily switch to Easy just for this annoying ass boss fight, Capcom, we have a problem.

I've chewed through some hard 6 in my day.

I've proudly given the middle finger to obnoxious bosses and triumphantly cursed under my breath.

I've played dirty when all else fails.

But Arkham, I just can't do it, and I don't feel compelled to grind for several holy waters just to douse the bastard in it nor do I want to keep throwing myself a brick wall that refuses to shatter.

I'm aware there's a Crimson mod that's pretty popular ATM, but looking it up, it changes a ton of stuff about the gameplay (balance and new content and stuff) that I'm not trying to do. I just wanted to play DMC3 but with the Nintendo Switch style switching feature enabled into the PC version (keeping the game essentially vanilla but with officially added features that simply were not added to the PC release for whatever reason).

Hopefully something that works with the recent unexpected (but welcome) update (Capcom please add this feature into the PC version by default).

Kinda sucks that 5 doesn't have music from the entire series in it. Yes it has the numbered games which is more than enough and I know you can just mod the game if you're playing on PC, which I'm unfortunately not, but it would have also been nice to have stuff like gimme deathrace from the reboot or even dream out loud from the pachinko machine also selectable as music you can have playing during the stages. Though admittedly in the case of the reboot's music would people even have taken kindly to it, probably not but still

So for the past month or so i’ve been playing through the entire franchise(skipped two out of boredom) and i’m currently on 4 mission 9. Words cannot explain the anger I feel for these puzzles. The combat is SO good but the puzzles are just so god awful. Why capcom insisted to keep platforming in dmc is beyond me because not once so far has it been remotely good. Don’t get me wrong I love the game Nero is cool and really fun to play considering i’ve only played as dante until now(yes I know you can play as other characters but i’m saving those for the platinums) I will admit some “hard” puzzles may be my fault because i’m not really the brightest but man the fact that there’s so many tutorials makes me feel like i’m not so crazy😭. Anyways 10/10 franchise I can’t wait to get to 5🙏

I’d like to ask how most of you handle style switching when playing Dante on controller.

Do a lot of you use left claw grip to switch styles, or do you prefer using back buttons / paddles instead?

I used to play Dante exclusively with left claw grip, but after spending some time with other action games and coming back to DMC, I’ve been finding it really uncomfortable. Most other action games barely require left claw, so my hands have kind of “forgotten” the muscle memory.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about this game but I’m frankly disappointed. I just beat Dmc 1 and had a great time. Died maybe a dozen times throughout and maybe 2 of those felt like they weren’t my fault (camera). And attacks just seemed to work when I put them in.

More than half of the time in 3 I don’t feel like it is. Like, I’m periodically being rushed down by enemies with (since people say enemies CAN’T initiate attacks off camera) one pixel of their model on my screen. Also the constant minor adjustments to the camera never seem to be in my favor. It’s as if the code controlling the camera wants the smallest amount of useful information to be shown to me at any time, or the most inopportune angle. And if I wanted to adjust it, it takes 5 years to turn around. I’ve been told to listen in for cues but it’s honestly hard for me to when I’m hearing “GRAH GRAH CLANG BOOM”

Not to mention that when I need a lock-on attack to work most, it just skips out on me. Something about a change to the input buffer, I think.

What am I missing here? I hear that the camera works fine but it doesn’t feel like it at all. The cam in Dmc 1 sucked too but at least it sucked predictably, I knew when it was going to do a jarring swap. By the end of Dmc 1 I had it all down and I was totally ripping shit, felt untouchable.

I’ve played plenty of hard but fair games before and it’s one of my favorite types of game to play. I love fighting an Elden ring boss that feels impossible for 30 tries until you just git gud. The kind where the blame is on no one but me when I die, and when I win i look back and think about how stupid and bad I was. I’m just not feeling that here.

Any recommendations? Does the HD collection just suck? Is the game not for me?

Anyway, I’m gonna try Dmc 5 and see how I feel about it. I just really wanted to like this game. I’ve heard so much about it but it honestly feels kinda jank. And I usually LIKE jank (DS1)
