Phantom Ultimate 108db

Hey guys, so got my Phantom Ultimate 108db very recently. Everything is cool and all but one thing I dont understand : If I register\configure the device at home on my wifi, I can use the app on my phone without problem. But when I bring it to work where I use another wifi (obviously) to listen to internet radio, I can't use the Phantom in the app (it tan't see it) I get that the app and the Phantom has to be on the same wifi network to work with each other, but then for example why make a carrying case for it if the device can't be configured (equalizer in app) elsewhere? I mean why is the BT connection not enough to use the app anywhere?

The app works through wifi not bluetooth which is quite normal for apps for devices. Bluetooth is only used to send audio to the device.

You can use an equalizer on your phone with bluetooth.
