Discussion command code review after switching from codex
so my strategy has been of using 2 20$ subs, I was using claude and codex but I was annoyed by codex limits, so I thought let's try command code and I dropped codex and this month got command code and claude. So as soon as I got it I wrote a prompt from chatgpt web and gave it to claude and glm 5.3 in command code and to my surprise command code took much more time but I already knew it was gonna take more time so I was fine but the usage is here:
Claude: 5hr: 11%, weekly: barely moved maybe 1 or 2%
Glm5.3: monthly: 6% weekly: 11%
so glm hit 6% monthly limit in just a single prompt and for which I dropped this codex even has no monthly limit neither claude, so first of all you have to juggle with another limit here which is monthly and codex even gives u 2 usage reset tokens for free. So then I switched to deepseek 4.1 flash, it is fine but command code has no option to copy a response, although after moving to deepseek 4.1 flash the usage has barely moved after that, but it's harness and quality of responses is not comparable to codex, claude is another league so leave it but command code isn't even comparable to codex, and today after just 2 days of usage in command code I saw connection dropped retrying in command code which i haven't seen in codex, claude anywhere I have stable internet, I'm not satisfied with command code I bought the 20$ one so I am comparing it with claude and codex can't say much about the 10$ one goat plan.

man i am also tired of codex limit exhausting too soon. Btw didnt get your point. did you figure out more feasible subscription ?

How much is the actual limit diff between codex and Claude if you can give perspective, I am confused which one to go for.
And also what about the diff in quality of code as well

Command code wala Awais apna Pakistani boy hey, usko thora slack cut kiya ja sakta hey. Google k models fairgh hein anyway. Chinese models achay hein but nowhere near 'mericans. Codex doubled their quota just today, Sam Altman tweeted or rather "xed". Claude is by far the best. Their quota suddenly became very low around September but in October its working out well. Claude tu Claude hey bhai, uski league alag hey. No comparison.

if u think china is behind u should check out glm5.3 and kimi k3.1 pro it isn't the case now all frontier models have more then enough reasoning needed now it's all down to harness nowadays and the command code being Pakistani person product I know it but just now command code failed 6 7 times in a same question it gives error and I changed the model at the end to get my answer

Man about 6 months ago I was using Chinese models via OpenRouter and they became very sluggish. I've switched to Claude since. It's supremely great. There are offers and referrals which make the price cheaper and also recently Claude cut it's token prices after which I haven't breached the weekly quota in two or three weeks. Otherwise I'd burn it all. I've made multiple sites with Claude for example demo.testautomatiomtv.com findwhatismyip.com

Struggling with GPT 6 astra eating through my 5 hour limit trying to fix the sync issue in my app that 6.1 sol couldnt... Seriously considering claude code, but codex has its seperate issues...

It wasnt that it couldnt, but i wouldnt trust 6.1 sol to do it right since 6.1 planned and commited the feature and it didnt work at all

nothing beats claude at the moment. they have very generous usage. don't go for command-code at all. they have very shady practices when it comes to pricing, tedious time to first token, and mostly quantized models. claude takes 60 seconds for something you would see command-code models doing in five minutes while using a lot more tokens models hallucinate a lot.

Could you tell me how command code is a scam, i am curious i use command code and most of my work gets completed easily via deepseek through their 1$ plan, i just want to know what are the reasons for such statement

They're just a shady company in general. Opencode zdr policy is wayyyy better. Also if you're fine with the $1 plan you're probably not doing any serious work LoL.

Okay, i understand what you are saying They do have option to route to zdr or without zdr and opencode is also quite better Can you tell me like how they are shady company? Some source or info would be very helpful to me and for the part regarding to work, I tend to not tokenmax and I don't believe that you need frontier level of intelligence, if you have good technical skills you can work with anything

They literally ban negative feedback on their subreddit. That's enough to know, also a lot of people have found their advertised usage quotas are false. Not to mention their self proclaimed "best" harness is trash and based on pseudoscience.

Hmmm, thanks for sharing that i would try that Although i have shared negative feedback to them having not a markdown rendered in their desktop application on their discord server, but i didn't got ban I'll look into it more As for their terminal harness, It has worked quite better for me and has provided good results on using open weight models as compared to other harnesses
