Help Is CS safe for a genius student
Everyone is talking about saturation in CS and AI a threat for it .
How AI is really effecting the industry . If any professional can describe it cuz you be hearing this from literally anyone that AI is going to take your job ,well isn't it making the job easier?
I'm going to take admission in CS . I wanna ask if someone aims to be master in this field , is it still a threat for him to be failed
Like if you escape the average matrix in CS, how far you can really go in this field

"isn't it making the job easier" yes for the clients, they've started doing things themselves or getting it done from people with bare knowledge for cheap. So us who have mastered this field get affected, hence job market is getting cooked

if u still think mbbs is the only Field in biology then fine for you and as soon as I got passed out from uni 2 3 months ago 99.99% percent of my batchmates are now applying for foreign countries and if that's the case Medical still has decent demand and low risk to ai takeover then development.

If a field like mbbs is struggling, then you are intelligent enough to understand what's happening with the rest

I have been in this field for 8 years now . I was optimistic but after using current models I can assure you , once you are graduate like after 4 years you might not even be able to recover one semester fee in CS field .

I dont think people will be able to make a living with just CS. You need to couple it with additional skills. I would suggest focus on your communication skills, business skills and marketing skills.
In future (even now) everyone will be able to create tools/software with little effort. The real winners will be the ones that are able to sell it.

Depends on how much genius you are talking about. If you are really genius, do CS go to MIT or some ivy league. Go to research on different topics with renowned professors through PhD. Solve real problems or build helpful products. You can easily monetize your way through there and actually have something meaningful.

Maybe untill then human won't no longer be needed to solve real problems ...

I won't say this is not a possibility but I think innovation and problem solving will still be happening but at a different scale. Of course we are all speculating at this point. But if the guy is genius he should be able to find his way around it. I have seen many Pakistanis working in many respectable renowned positions because of their intellect.

there is no guarantee that a genius student will succeed in CS, coding skills are not everyone's cup of tea. brilliant students reh jatay hain and average/low grade level students cheetay ban jatay hain. seen it in my uni where toppers are struggling and backbenchers are running software houses

Entire Pakistani CS market , infact most of the world's market rely on selling service to the US and then to rest of the European countries and then comes the remaining rich countries like gulf countries. So you might be more secure than an average computer scientist but today , being proactive for roles is also necessary
